Similar, but different shades of blue, and silver puma detail as opposed to white.
the top picture are the new v1's coming january next year. the bottom are already out, they're a colorway of the v3.06

the blue v1's are quite nice, but the other color isn't exactly my favorite. Better than the grass color though IMO.

That's because they are Vapors. They just have the Puma symbols painted/put on them.
And I think posting this link would be much more helpfull

Yeah, we've seen it before with a pair of Pulses blacked out with the nike swoosh on it....the wonderful world of multi-million dollar corporations.

surely big corperations such as nike could sue puma for that

Why and how? Puma didn't put the logo on...it was most likey the player or his kit manager due to a contract or something.

Why? because it is nike who designed the boot.

Any idea what sizes Legends and/or Shinkens i would be?? about the same?

How are the V1's (non-K version)? I'm thinking about buying a pair in Black/White SG but not sure about the sizing and the durability...any comments on them, in particular the durability?
KenNY-
Sep 9 2006, 07:02 AM
Hmm not so good

bit of separation in the sole, I used a bit of superglue so I guess it's holding up okay now (not separating any further) lol
The colour on the synthetic material kinda fades a little (on my red ones anyway) it's like fabric wearing out, but not as bad.
And umm, u know how I got the SG thinking its gonna be a wet season again but it hardly rained down in Melbourne this year and the stud pressure got pretty bad

(only played 2 games in the rain this season and they were awesome in the wet though)
Not sure if its just bad luck for me or what but that's why im thinking of buying a pair of FG's for next season so I can use both.

Also, did you order them from justsocca?
KenNY-
Sep 9 2006, 08:38 PM
Yeah. We don't have to pay VAT so it kinda nearly cancels out the postage cost (£20)
So it's actually cheaper with postage buying from Australia than from Europe (outside of UK) lol

KenNY- buy a pair of shinkens that are a 1/2 size smaller than your v1's. I have the FG and the SG v1's and a pair of the wave shinkens. I am sure you will love them. I normally wear a size 9, bought an 8 1/2 in the shinkens and they fit great. Besides they are much more durable than the v1's.

Hey BigRed. How is the width on the Shinkens though?? I asked AC Milan and he said they're probably even a bit wider than T90 3's
And the T90 3's are wide for me
or is that why I should get 1/2 a size smaller??

I am not sure compared to the T90 3's. I do not wear nike boots. I have a fairly standard foot - not narrow or wide. The shinkens are a touch wider than the synthetic v1's and a little narrower than the absolutes. I would go a 1/2 size smaller based upon length only. I do not find my self having to overtighten the boots to get them to snug up. My foot does not move around at all in the shinkens - and if I remember the last pair of AZT's I wore were wide for my taste too.

Ejtek, i wanna buy the same boot but in fg, im not sure though, becuase the boot might be too light (it doesn't effect your shot that much but everyone wants a little momentum behind their shots imo), the boot might start to split after two weeks, and i want protection on the forefoot and around the toe without wearing double socks.
does eto'o wear double socks?
is the material on the v1s too thin and flimsy (hope it's not like socks), i really like getting good strikes on the ball.
i guess I'll use super glue when they start to split.
can some one post pics of there split v1s please? if you can that would be great. thanks

If you're looking for protection, buy Konstrukts! I worn my V1´s for the first time today and luckely I didn't get tramped! It will hurt sometime though!
I wear double socks in V1´s cause it feels better for me! Usually I don't in other boots!
And for shooting they are awesome!!
But I don't think my will last for longer than 2 months. They are very fragile!
But despite this, they are among the best boots I've worn!

Thanks for advice, maybe the leather version is better ( I can't believe I found the black/ red ones!)
I dont like to spend anything over 180 for boots or any shoe for that matter. so i guess konstructs are out.
(for my dad it's more like 90, he doesn't realize that quality boots these days cost more, and sometimes they aren't even quality lol"
when I bought t90s a long time ago (for 80) he said "What is this bloody KNG!" (imagine it with a thick scottish accent lol).

sorry, my digital camera isn't working. The splits not that big, but it seems to grow every time I play, and i've only played in them four times. Saying that, theyre probably the nicest boot i've ever played in, the touch is superb and the agility they give you on the ball is amazing, and I would still reccomend them.

thanks for trying and thanks for info, have you tried super glue on the split? wonder if it will hold up then.
KenNY-
Sep 14 2006, 06:30 AM
Yeah like I said somewhere else (or maybe in here), I used superglue on mine and it held it together for a while but then the glue wears/comes off or something but I don't think it's splitting any further.

yeah lol, the ones on display at soccer scene were already a nice shade of light beige just from being handled by customers. And the guy I was talking to there said that his white v1's also had a lot of grass stains that were impossible to get off.
