. They're very Vapor-esque.

If you look closely enough you can see on the front of the boot (white part) it has the Michelin Man and "MICHELIN performance".....tyre inspired maybe FTW!?

yup... i agree completley with you. the black is the best colorway out of the ones weve seen and maybe umbro lost a bet with a michelin manager. that is pretty stupid if i may say so my self.

I'd get them and black all the white things on the front out, or atleast the Michelin thing out first.

maybe the the toe area is made of a very thin michelin rubber. For incredible swerve and control.

Touch Control it says.
I think that Umbro are using a similar technology to Nomis (ie a sticky surface) but using technology from Michelin. That would make complete sense.

not a bad looking cleat .. but then again not very good looking .. just not my style .. and reeboks seem to have very high ankles and especially the pro rages .. they seem to be such a thick, bulky ankle, cant see how henry would make a switch from thin vapors to thick, heavy reeboks, but i love the man and as long as he stays good then im fine with what he does .. even though i would like to see him back in vapors

I like the looks of the new X-boot except for that Michelin thing on there. I notice that in this pick there are subtle differences between the black ones and the white/red ones in the back. hopefully they will look like the black/white.

Click to view attachmentClick to view attachmentso lets get the facts i myself think that this Michelin logo would look bloody sexy because the boot would a bit a speciality ... uniqueness ... and btw on these pics i just posted you can clearly see what they mean by motion control ... that grip thing really looks like it could work ... and prob being from michelin it would work even better

EDIT: just found out that the michelin could be the real thing ... because normally whats on bolliger is the real thing ... we will just have to wait and see i think

OMG those cleats are friggin amazing! I don't know why but im really loving these boots, unlike any other. Umbro has always seemed kinda pure in there marketing (it doesn't look like they ran out of ideas like the big brand companies) and this michelin part has got me really excited. Even though boots will not help you but only make you feel better, these boots look like you could kill in freekicks and shooting in general.
It's a good thing that british based companies like umbro and reebok are wanting to make a come back.

I think ur right in saying that the Michelin performance makes the boot truly unique...it's cool that different companies are working together too...I just wish the actual Michelin man wasn't on the shoe. I wish it just said "Michelin performance", regardless of whether or not that changes, I will probably end up getting the new X-boots. I also like how Umbro is going away from bladed FG to circular FG, not that it matters, but it is always nice to see change
