well, Bayern is Germany's best team. they hopefully will do well in this years CL.
the season start was great and it can be better when Deisler and Schweinsteiger give Magath more midfield possibilities when they are at full fitness.

i think bayern will win two trophies this year, the bundesliga and the champions league. they are germanys best team, and i think bayern could have used two teams and both would have been 6 or better in the bundesliga. they have world class players on every position, a FANTASTIC team, although i do not like them.

Ich glaube, dass Bayern München die beste Mannschaft der Welt ist (hope its correct smile.gif )

and last: I think its stupid that bayern is "munich" and not "münchen" in english thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
Schneisler
They have the best team, the greatest stadium and the fattest manager of the whole league wink.gif

Yea, 4 time european champion´s! Hopefully 5 time next year. I really think that this year Bayern has the team to make it.
Postie
Don't you think they've started the season in a strange way? I mean they've won every game so far and Ollie's not had much to do yet.

Usually they struggle in early season and then kick into gear just before the winterpause. Anybody else think that they could burn themselves out?

Makaay is a scoring machine though. He should fire Holland to World Cup glory. Play him up front with RVN, for crying out loud and cut the lone striker crap out!!!

yes, they didn't play brilliant vs Gladbach and Hertha but they won easily tho smile.gif
all in all we had no real challenge so far this season.
Postie
That is until the 24th of September, my friend wink.gif
energy41
do we play HSV then?
if so then it could become an unrelaxed game but HSV scored just one home goal vs Bayern in the last 8 games or so (i think). so they need to find the goal vs us.
Postie
Yeah, at the AOL Arena. My girlfriend is over for a few weeks at the time and we're (hopefully) going up to see it. So her first ever Bundesliga game could be Hamburg vs Bayern...not bad, eh? biggrin.gif

But yeah, not much success in recent years. However, HSV are enjoying their best start to the season in 18 odd years...so maybe this is a good as time as any to break the jinx against Makaay the Machine and Bayern
energy41
somehow i think HSV will beat most teams at home but that they will lose vs Bayern. yeah HSV vs Bayern as first game is great.

my first game was Cottbus vs Stuttgart. Cottbus won late 2-1 banana.gif
Postie
My first HSV game was against Stuttgart from a while back. 2-2 at half time (ended 3-2 to HSV). Great game smile.gif
energy41
cool, we both had our first game won vs Stuttgart smile.gif

my first and only HSV game was in Cottbus(of course).
Cottbus won 1-0 through an injury time penalty. funnily i already was out of the stadium but i could hear the fans celebrating the pen call and the goal smile.gif
was a poor game with a good result from my point of view.
fanatic
Bayern have some good young Players in the team like Scweingster and Ali Karimi, They also have a good start to the season i think they will win the double as always.
energy41
mate its Schweinsteiger thumbsup.gif (i know its tough to write hump.gif )

actually we just won the double 4 times since 2000.(3 times Bundesliga+cup, 1 time Bundesliga+CL banana.gif ).
2002 and 2004 we won nothing which matters.
this seasons were before the WC/EC so maybe this is a sign that Bayern don't play very good seasons before a big competition because the players want/wanted to save their call ups.
but this season it looks really good imo. smile.gif
the Bundesliga title would be cool, but i would love to see Bayern winning the CL.
if would be cool aswell for the german football if this time Bayern wouldn't make it to the cup final because those finals are boring because Bayern wins easily. hump.gif

i am dreaming of an cup final between Hannover 96 and Energie Cottbus whistling.gif

I´m also hoping for Champions league success this year. I think that this year Bayern really has the team to make it.
energy41
well, Makaay will miss the game at Nuremberg on saturday while Nuremberg will miss last seasons topscorer Marek Mintal.
should be an easy 2-0 win.
hopefully Pizarro will score his first goal this season and Schweinsteiger will make his first Bundesliga appereance this season. smile.gif

1. not CL. but probally die bundesliga

2. ye thats quite good

3. i think the reason why they do not call bayern münchen in english is because münchen is hard to pronouce if u do not speak german (i think whistling.gif ) because it is pronounced mün hien and the ü has an umlaut, so thye pronouce it bayern mu-nik

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

i dont like them when people call them bayern munich

1. münchen is the proper one, and munich sounds really really bad

2. they stole felix magath and that pissed me off with magath in charge of stuttgart we were sooo good we beat man utd 2-1 and bayern münchen 3-1 (imre szabics 2 goals biggrin.gif)

3. i only like roque santa cruz and possibly lizarazu sometimes

4. i could not believe they were able to buy makaay i might have liked him if he did not go to bayern but went to like barcelona or something smile.gif

energy41
Bayern won deserved 2-1 at Nuremberg today.
Kahn looked bad on the conceeded goal, then Bayern was lucky to score the equaliser 70 seconds later + the winning goal was offside but the win was deserved tho. this means that Bayern have won 13 straight league games.

1. FC Nürnberg: Schäfer - Lense, Wolf (53. Paulus), Nikl, Pinola - Saenko (67. Slovak), Polak (58. Wagefeld), Cantaluppi, Banovic - Daun, Kießling

FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Ismael, Lucio, Lizarazu - Karimi (46. Zé Roberto), Hargreaves, Ballack, Schweinsteiger (87. Jeremies) - Pizarro (59. Santa Cruz), Guerrero

refree: Michael Weiner (Ottenstein)

attendance: 46.939 (ausverkauft)

goals:1:0 Pinola (20.), 1:1 Guerrero (21.), 1:2 Ballack (60.)

I love this team!

I have been Bayern fan for 13 years... Everything have started from my best german player - Jurgen Klinsmann... smile.gif

But now - we have the best team on Germany!
And we will win Bundesliga, Bundesliga Cup and Champions League!
We have a hugde talent and great players - from goalkeeper to attack!

This season 2005/2006 will be our! smile.gif

btw -> sorry, but my english is poor biggrin.gif

I got a Bayern away fulls sleeve with Ballack name and No 13 but somone tell me if the last seasons away kit is the same as this seasons away kit as i have seen they are calling it the 2004/6 shirt.

Are there any design differences as i can tell there are not.

mate there are no differences.
its the same golden kit like last season, next season there will be a new away kit for the 2 following seasons.
the next new home kit will be released in 2007, Bayern always wear their home and away kits for 2 seasons and have just one new kit every season which is the home kit this year thumbsup.gif

You mean like the French and Spain call London "Londres", name changing is not limited to English, it's just one of those things that crop up in languages, it's not an insult towards Bayern. Beside Munich sounds much better than Munchen, like Cologne/Koln.

Looked everywhere for a full sleeve CL shirt but could not find anyone know where i can find it.

Im glad to hear from Energy41 that my shirt is not out of date now i can enjoy it being the exact same kit as Bayern are wearing now and i got the Bundesliga patch on the side for the double or something.

Have they made the 2006 Germany home kit? cheers.

have a look in the online shop on the offical Bayern website thumbsup.gif .
you can read the page in english too.

@Dundalis:
Karimi did well so far, but hasn't played the full 90 minutes yet (i think).

@Pirès7:
i agree hump.gif

just go to ur local sports store and u will find it

Bayern plays at Rapid Wien today. Roy Makaay is fit again smile.gif while Ballack will miss the game due to injury problems.

expected line-up:
FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Ismael, Lizarazu - Schweinsteiger, Hargreaves, Deisler (Karimi), Zé Roberto - Makaay, Pizarro
also in the squad: Dreher, Demichelis, Scholl, Jeremies, Salihamidzic, Santa Cruz, Guerrero

i think and hope Bayern will win 2-0.
what do you think?
*Glow*
Yep, 2-0 for Bayern, Makaay and Deisler with the goals

Yeah thats where i got my fullsleeve away shirt for Bayern from as i have joined also to be a member of that site which i had to pay for. I have seen the CL collection but no fullsleeve version ah but Ballack can have the fullsleeve version but we can't.

If i was living on another planet maybe things would be that simple every store while i was in London had not one Germany Michael Ballack shirt i tried for the Ballack CL bayern full sleeve but could not find it either.
energy41
so your only chance seems to buy an short sleeve shirt, but i think Bayern will have a new CL kit next season so you could possibly wait for this new kit.

Scholl starting tonight!!!!!!!!!!! clapping.gif clapping.gif clapping.gif clapping.gif

Bayern won luckily against Rapid with 1:0. Guerrero shot the goal. They played a little bit like Barca today in Bremen...
Alex10
Does anyone know why Ali Karimi didn't play against Vienna?
energy41
well, 1-0 away win smile.gif .
we had luck that Rapid missed a penalty after 81 minutes, wasn't an impressive performance. i think Karimi didn't played because Magath wanted to rotate or so.

Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Ismael, Lizarazu (52. Demichelis) - Schweinsteiger (83. Deisler), Hargreaves, Zé Roberto, Scholl - Makaay, Pizarro (52. Guerrero)
energy41
Bayern won their last 2 games both 1-0 and both without Ballack vs Hannover and at Frankfurt.

formation vs Hannover
FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Ismael, Hargreaves (46. Schweinsteiger) - Deisler (76. Salihamidzic), Demichelis, Karimi (70. Scholl), Ze Roberto - Guerrero, Makaay
goal: 1:0 Demichelis (9.)

formation vs Frankfurt
FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Ismael, Lucio, Lizarazu - Deisler (53. Scholl), Demichelis, Salihamidzic (66. Guerrero) - Schweinsteiger, Karimi (73. Zé Roberto) - Makaay
goal: 0:1 Guerrero (72.)

the performance vs Frankfurt was better than the game vs Hannover.
all in all, the results are okay because Bayern has 8 injured players imo.
energy41
after the defeat at HSV Bayern needs to get back on track today at home vs Brugge.
Karimi will miss the game while Guerrero is likely to start today.

expected line up:
FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Ismael, Lizarazu - Demichelis - Schweinsteiger, Ballack, Zé Roberto - Makaay, Guerrero
subs: Dreher, Jeremies, Deisler, Ottl, Salihamidzic, Scholl, Santa Cruz

what do you think how they will do?
i predict a 2-0 win. Ballack and hopefully Makaay(needs a goal) the scorers.
*Glow*
3-0 Bayern, Ballack and Makaay x2
Inter4Ever
i think bayern will win 4-0, ballack, lucio and makaay (2 goals) will score!
energy41
i hope one of us will be right smile.gif and its nice to see that you are optimistic even Bayern's last performances were not that well that we could expect a big win.

Thank the high heavens Ballack seems to have found his edge again and work rate good midfield passing took lots of nice shots on goal and worked hard better.

Fucking bitch!!! He seems to have been injured again.
energy41
1-0 vs Brugge is good even it should have been more clear. Demichelis saved the game again like he did vs Hannover. unfortunately Ballack and Lizarazu got injured dry.gif .

FC Bayern: Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Ismael, Lizarazu (52. Scholl) - Demichelis - Schweinsteiger, Ballack (83. Jeremies), Zé Roberto - Makaay, Guerrero (72. Santa Cruz)

attendance:66.000 (sold out)

goal:1:0 Demichelis (32.)

energy41
Bayern won 2-0 vs Wolfsburg today, but Makaay again has not scored dry.gif .
the performance was not too good and Bayern had luck when a shot by Wolfsburg just hit the post when it was 0-0.

FC Bayern: Dreher - Sagnol, Ismael, Lucio, Schweinsteiger - Deisler, Jeremies, Zé Roberto (77. Salihamidzic), Karimi (50. Scholl) - Makaay, Santa Cruz (70. Guerrero)

attendance:66.000 (ausverkauft)

goals:1:0 Santa Cruz (66.), 2:0 Lucio (90.)

energy41
Bayern played 1-1 at Schalke but should have won because Schweinsteiger gave away a penalty in stoppage time to throw 2 points out of the window.
Bayern missed too many chances but is still on a good way.

FC Bayern: Kahn - Ottl, Lucio, Ismael, Schweinsteiger - Deisler (83. Karimi), Ballack, Demichelis, Zé Roberto (46. Salihamidzic) - Santa Cruz (90. Pizarro), Makaay

goals:0:1 Santa Cruz (19.), 1:1 Larsen (penalty, 90.+2)

red card:Demichelis (90.+3) - wrong decision btw
wyuc
at least they stopped their losing streak in Arena Auf Schalke smile.gif
