Why is he so damn poor?
He's one of my favorite American players- athletic, great finisher, hard worker, etc...
He's a monster for the Revs, but never seems to bring his MLS form to the national team. He looks nervous all game and his only notable aspect while on the national team is working hard defensively.
SPeaking of him, he just missed a nearly open goal during the US Guatemala game.

He played terribly tonight and the sub of Cunningham has to be question. I know alot of people have been begging for the Donovan-Cunningham-Johnson combo, and this seemed like the perfect time in my book. Twellman's days on the national team are going to be numbered soon. He better show up to play if he gets called back against Costa Rica.
