Are there any differences between the original adidas f50's and the f50+, as you can now buy the original was really cheap and personally i think the original black and sun colour is by far the most attractive of them all.

any thoughts or opinions?

I agree completly pompy, firstly, the black colour of the originals is the best in my opinion, why, because they look clean, none of this fancy webbing or anything, just a nice smooth boot.

Also someone mentions the lacing system, I think they were relating to the velcro, I dont have the +s but on my mates the velcro didnt stick after a wile and the leather upper was just flopping around, folded over.

Also black looks nices and it is easier to clean. And you can black em out easier.

The new f50+ are better looking and have a better lace system, they also have
softer leather . But the fronts do wear down to easy on the new f50+.

i like the look of the F50s better....and i think the +s wear down easier bcs of the difference in leather.

i would go with the f50s much more style and quality fo yo money

Also the orginals were made from actual kangaroo leather, not some treated calf-leather to seem like kangaroo leather. Its true. Check out soccer.com.

apart form looks. the only REAL difference between those two is the upper. however changing the uppers had dramatic effects. in case u all forgot, the BIG downfall about f50's were that they took in as much water as a sponge did., so u REALLY needed to maintain them well. also ur feet would end up soaked and all the other goodies from soaked shoes. with the original f50's water just seemed to go in form all over. my point being, if u play where there isn't much of a rain season, and the pitches are nice. get the f50s. i DO like those better. esp the black silver and orange colroway. and YES they are much cheaper now. but if ur pitches are constantly wet. i wouldn't go for it. wet feet kinda get old after a while. thats the big complaint about the f50 that i remembered.

f50+ are said to take in a LOT less water. thats alwyas nice. haha

good comment...f50s DO take in water like crazy but they are very good for me cuz in oklahoma its pretty nice!!..

Yea, I have Romeo's favorite color (Black/Zest) and in Florida, it doesn't matter...it's called the sunshine state for a reason.

my friend had the f50s and the stripe on the side eventually wore down and split, the f50+ is alot more flexible and comfy

I've got F50+ and i prefer them 2 F50s coz for some reason i found the F50s to narrow
