Well, this is the story: First year playing with my team, we got the 1st place in our division. Then next year, we've got 2nd place. And next year, 3rd place. But this season (3 matches left), we are at 9th place. The team has just fallen apart. Noones is gettin on our training, nobodys serious. Even though we've got better the 3 last home matches (8-2, 6-0, 7-0) it's not working anymore.
My problem is that i know if i want to have a chance going pro, i need to change team fast. But i enjoy the team so much, the teammatesm, we've got the team spirit (not on the field though).
We've got another team in our town who's om the division thats one level higher the ours. But i dont know if i would have enjoyed the team that much (they're like much beter then us though). So what do you think i should do? Change club and try to get in to the 1st-team or stay where i am?
Playaa!

exactly. choose between wanting to have fun with friends or going on to fulfill your potential. if you are serious about becoming pro you'll find a way to have fun playing without your friends.
practice a lot......if you get bored of playing with your friends or by yourself this sport isnt for you...

Well, i'm not getting bored by playing with my teammates. And i'm not bored by playing with myself. Football is mye life, and the problem is that my team cant play football anymore, they dont want to.

here's what to do..
learn Spanish, move to Argentina, join a club (any club that is relatively serious), play football regularly in the streets and move back to wherever it is you are living 1 year later. Then, trial for the BEST team there.
If that doesn't work, then well, you suck.

If you want to be pro that's what you would do...

Well u just have to think whats more important to u, playing with your mates or achieving the best u can, dead obvious really.
I know which one I'd pick but it also depends on whether you'd get a game at the other team.....

Well i've made my mind. After not playing the three last macthes because i was sick, and my team lost like 7-0 and things like that. So we made 10th place, and going down to another division.
So i change team, i'm like f***** pissed.

not but seriously, i was/am in the same situation, but a little different. my team went from division 3 (1 being the best) to 4 to 5 to 6 (no joke) we moved up to 5 last year and we're in 2nd place for out division now. we play division 2-3 teams all the time, and i know i am better than half of their team, but don't want to leave my friends and team. Do what you think is best, if you're serious about going pro, leave that team and join the higher division team. if I were you, i would stick around for the rest of the season, and see how well you do.

I actually play both.
My U-16 team isn't the greatest, even though we're best in our leauge.
But the U-17 is awesome and I play for them too.
I didn't leave the 16 to have fun iwth my friends and it's pretty easy competition...I go to all games and play full!!
I can relax on one team and play serious on the other. But both are serious...
because it's in the same Club, I can play both, on the 17 I'm a guest player...but yours aren't connected right?
Have fun man, unless your a big name where your from, then you can't go pro. Have fun while you can. (not to be mean about the big name thing)

The higher you go, the better chance of you becoming pro and the better chance of you being spotted. Playing locally(well in sydney australia), even if your top class, the chances of you being spotted are very slim, but as you go higher in the levels, better chances of being spotted. Personally i wouldnt care about playing with friends and having good team spirit, its about you and what you want.
I dont think any player whos serious about their football would even consider staying on with their friends if they had a chance to move higher up.
Always look to further improve your playing career..
