i did, but its mixed in with a thread about what boots some bloke should buy - off topic doesnt mean a lot to some people

plus: im only looking for opinions on these boots - is it really that much of a problem that it's not where u would like it to be?

Not a problem.. i thaut u din't konw + it will be more usefull to us beacuse this thopic in not pinned like the one about other companies like PUMA.

Anyhoo, all those boots look pretty hot, especially the all red V1's

ewww agh gross. man am i glad i got the new execs. those all look terrible, (so do the absolutes).i dont know which is worse.both are so radically hideous, theyre trying to do too much too fast. stick with designs awhile, change colors momre often. people will still buy the goods.

why is everyone doing the covering over the laces? theres too many boots with that and its getting old..i dont think ill be buying these pumas

whats up with that pointed toe? all of those shoes have em and so do the execs...

From the looks of the pic I think there isnt a lace cover - just a side lacing system - the v1s are supposed to be frkn light - im not sure i like the styling tho - toe is too big and i agree with KNVBsoccer09 that puma need to stick with designs - i mean its barely 6 months after the launching the execs and cellerator 05s!!! - bit excessive

What material are the shoes made of?

Whole glut of tasty new boots for next year, I can't wait for 2006, I wanna try them all on now before all my mates!

The V1s are all synthetic - very lightweight apparently
The Konstrukts are k-leather i assume much like on the current execs

V1 - Expected quite nice... maybe the first PUMA i like. The stud configuration of the fg (for all the models) is pretty strage but not 2 bad.

wow to be honst i think puma just keepts getting better and better by the second. but thats just me. i love all these boots, the V1's are a copy of u know what, but for some reason i doubt they'll give as many blister as the u know what. haha. plus im glad they're coming out with another k leather boot. puma does have great k leather. anyways congrats puma, keep em coming.

Thanks for the valuable info henrysrightfoot. I agree with Romeo371M - Puma's K-leather is premium quality. I doubt any of the shoes will give blisters, but every person's feet are different. Puma finally decided to come out with a lightweight boot, which will challenge the vapors and the F50's. We will just have to wait, and see how it matches up with them. What I noticed is that Puma changed the design in their shoes - now, they have a puma embroided on the inner side of the shoe (look at the right boot). I like that. Don't the exec's have that also?

no problemo, although dont take what i said bout the v1s as gospel, i know that puma have developed a lightweight boot with an all synthetic upper due for release in 2006 - so it stands to reason that this is probably it!

ahhhh btw the only thing that I don't like i that V1 & V5 has the "3 stripes" on them

yep - that is part of my reasoning as to why the v1 is the lightweight boot puma have been harpin on about.

u know what guys ur right, i hadn't clicked on the pics before, u know just looked at whats pinned. but now that i clicked the link for the larger photo, it does look like the outsole uses are carbon fiber spring plate in the forefoot. if its true, this will result in a lighter forefoot, unlike adidas whole pulse theory haha, but it will also result in a lot more pring. hence the term "spring" plate. it acts like a hard trampoline. that pretty cool, i haven't really seen those in a lot of boot, only like basket ball shoes. ex. nike huarache 2k4, and 2k5. using those for soccer is a PUMA original.

they're all nasty the only pumas i ever liked were cellerators. But every1 is entitled to their taste

the good thing about puma is at least they are trying to bring out sum original designs unlike nike and adidas who keep revamping their old styles! im not a huge fan of the konstrukts - they look to bulky - like they have had bits stuck on all over the place- doubtless the boot will probably perform very well

Ive tried all of those when the puma rep was at my store

the V1 are lighter than the vapours. They are a new material i forget what it is called and the bottoms are made up of Carbon Fibre.

the v3 are just a microfibre still super light (and actualy a bit nicer) but not as light as the v1

while the v konstrukt are kinda of pumas answer to the preds

lots of support through the heel and really comfy. they also have a padded kicking surface ( the stiching on the fore foot)

YAY for f50 rip offs!

id buy them if it wasn't for those tacky studs. i love the designs tho.

then yay for reebok beleini rip off because the f-50 ripped off the strikezone concept

i'll look on puma's stock website - havent seen anything of the sort yet - well certainly not for quarter 1 2006

k here's pumas version of blue - the colour code is Navy/white/black/gold so in theory the main body of the boot is dark blue however it looks almost black to me!! due in november 05:Click to view attachment

whats with the weird studs tha puma uses on some of their boots?..i dont get the ones that go in the back of the heel part..look a little funky..its good to see SOMEONE bring out something new..getting sick of all the same ideas being produced by larger companies..hats off to puma..
