WHATS THE DIFFERENCE? i WANT TO BUY THAT BOOT, IS THAT THE BOOT gERRARD IS USING IN THAT PIC? What is the differecne between that n the all black n red Pred Pulse 2?

i have those boots, they are great:D the only diffrence is on the outside

You'll have to look elsewhere for greater detail, but af far as i know:

-The 2's have red lining, not black.
-The 2 model's material behind the stripes lines run vertically, not horizontally.
-The 2 has a stronger and thicker heel counter.

the heel counter is the same. the only difference is the name, and cosmetic differences. like different color thread and desgin, but nothing about the structure is different. just l8er colors, so they called it pulse 2

But they still have the origonal Black/White/Red in both Pulse and Pulse 2. On the Pulse 2 it just has a rid bit ont he inside and the lines on the outside just run the other direction...why would they bring out a new one just for that? Silly Adidas.

i noticed with the old black/red pulses compared to my gunmetal pulses or any of the pulse 2's at the shop near me that the predator lines or "elements" are more thin on the old ones and are bigger on the new ones

Oh yea, that just reminded me of another difference!

The 1's elements are more transparent and not too red and bright, whilethe 2's elements are very red.

the differences are purely aesthetic. There will be no difference in the performances of the boot

lol thank u. thats just a marketing ploy that makes the l8er colors sound better. they ar the same thing. its all cosmetic.

i read that it has brighter white stripes and they just called all predator pulse 2 after releasing original color pulse 2

I have the Gun Metal Pulse 2 shoes, and my friend has the Silver/Red Pulse 1 shoes. The two differences i can see.

1. On the side of the boot on the Pulse 1's the have Vertical lines. The Pulse 2 do not have horizontal lines, they just have a soft leather, but no lines are all. Which makes it look better even the new Blue/Red ones have that. Which makes the ones you want the gunmetal ones so much better.

2. On the 'Predator' element of the boot the Pulse 1 is just one solid color but the Pulse so is a kind of gel.

Thats the only difference i've noticed actually. The Gun Metal shoes are more different than the other styles. So if your going with predators i suggest getting Gun Metal! I have them, and Love them!
