I need to buy a new pair of boots however i am not sure which to buy, soft ground or firm ground as i can only afford one pair. i live in England and with the winter approaching there is a lot of rain however also when the bitter cold weather sets in the ground becomes rock hard.

I want to buy the nike legends so which do you think i should get soft ground or firm ground?

Any help is appreciated

i say go for the FG bcuz u can use them when the ground is hard, soft, or perfect.
if u buy the SG, u can only use it on wet or soft pitches

i have both sg and fg and our pitch is hard. but when i were sg i realy cant tell that much of a diff.

Get FG, they can be used in a wider range of surfaces. I have both SG and FG, and when i played in my SG's when the pitch was hard i hurt my achilles/calf because i would have to absorb more shock as there was less boot surface area. More surface area=less pressure. On FG there is more studs, also you cans till use it when the pitch is wet and not notice that big a difference.

Ok thanks for your replies i think ill go for the fg's in the white and gold legends as the other colourways prob wont be out for a while.

get fg before you get a pair of sg, but i like having both.

so if u have a training session in the morining, it would be better to wear sg? since the grass is moist. What about in the afternoon n u wear sg but the grass is not wet. What happens?

The boots explode becuae it's not SG
