there was this football match in which my team played a match on turf.We were not allowed to wear cleats - just sneakers or tennis shoes allowed .

Now mind u , there was dew in the turf , i just didnt have any control with the ball .

But most of my teammates were doing pretty fine .

Now i am by no stretch of imagination the best player in the team but i am not the worst either .

Somehow i found it very difficult to adjust to the turf , just couldnt run or even get a grip of the ball .

so is it just me or the shoes ?Dont want to blame my shoes but just wondering.

Would a change of shoes help?

it depends. if you are going to play on this turf consistantly, invest in some nice turfs (maybe the legends or some other nike ones).

But like what you said, thats how I used to be but this was on pavement. I used to have a really hard time playing on wet black tops. but, i invested in some decent indoors, and now i'm the best on my team when it comes to black top training. just keep working at it too, thats what i did/do.

ur sloppy play was understandable since you weren't exaclty used to the filed type, and if ur going to be playing on it more and more, ya get some nice turfs. i reccomedn u getting and adidas boot with the a^3 in the heel, IE: pred pulse A^3 f50+ a^3 etc.
