Ive bought snap-on tools from sellers in the states a few times and been hit with import tax about 3 quaters of the time. Its a bit of luck if it gets through without me being having to pay. Are you in the UK trying to buy a shirt from Asia?

No, I live in South Africa, which has a 45% import taxon clothing. I was looking to buy stuff from asia and send it to England, and then he could send to me as a 'present'! This way i wouldn't pay the 45%.

But, it doesn't matter now, because my dad refuses to let me buy anything from ebay because its 'unsafe'
