How good is he? Is there a biography internet of him or maybe a fansite?

I would really like to know how he trained his abs. He has the perfect abs I've seen in my life. Way better then ushers. I would like to know how he did it? I'm trying to get a 6pack myself, but I have no luck
Brian.
I very much doubt you will find anywhere that he written how he did his abs. How good is he? Thats a matter of constant debate on here. He is a solid and dependable enough player but he cant beat a man and his crossing isnt really upto the standard required from a winger. All that aside he always gives his all so as a person I really like him but I cant see him being a Liverpool player for too many more seasons. Ohh and he sucks at Left back.
Caņizares
He has been good in previous seasons. But this season he hasn't been up to his usual standard he has been a bit shocking at times.
andyk
He's been pretty much like this every season except now he isnt scoring those left foot thumpers so people are starting to realise he doesnt bring too much apart from freakish goals.
Winder
He has a place in all our hearts for that one magical moment: Riiiisseeeeeeee!!!!

John Arne Riise OOh Ahh I wanna knowooo how you scored that goal (to the tune of hey baby)

On a separate note DrPhil, do you think Oprah has abs?
escaflowne
i never rated riise highly. he is not suitable to play left winger. hes slow, can beat defender, bad first touch n cant cross. but he has decent shot. i hope kewell back and can settle our problem.
Crouchientes
i like riise as he shows passion for the club when he plays and never gives up but imo he shouldnt be are left winger in are starting 11, his crosses are not really up to scratch tbh he always drifts to the middle and rarely you see him get past a player, his left foot rockets are the main reason why hes held in high regard and rightly so they were beautys, i think he should be a squad player and used on the bench as he gives us two options in one bring him on at left back where at times he has good games or bring him on in his preferred left wing position, i feel we should play zenden as then we will see a better crouch, when harrys back riise could be further down the peaking order as harrys are only natural winger imo i feel when hes on form he should easily always be in are starting 11 and if rafa prefers zenden to riise when harrys back we might have to say goodbye
BoloZenden
I think Riise's quality.

Riisssssssssseeeeee!!!!, O My Goodness!!, Goodness grashus me!!!

It's Amzing the goals still standing!!, the ball rocketed into it! By the Left Boot of John Arne Riise!!

I will never forget that goal! Fucking Brilliant! laugh.gif

You'll Never Walk Alone
He is the only player on our team that can call himself a red and really, really mean it!!

yup but i suppose he was up against a 17 year old... all be it a decent one.

the tricks Riise were using to beat his man, i doubt would work in the premiership, faking down the wing and cutting inwards EVERY time. might work once in a prem game.

ok he was effective in this particular game and probably does deserve MOTM, but i wouldn't say hes turned a new leaf... just had more success because his oppenent is vastly inexperienced.
andyk
Yeah well said oli. Riise did this exact same stuff v TNS in the 1st leg. I dont think he'll be able to pull it off in the premiership. Although all credit must go to him today he had a great game.

Yes you are right, but again he was MOTM, he was not soo good and useful for long time. I know the main reason for that was inexperienced opponent but anyway it is good for him and his confidence, thats why i m soo happy about.

That Van Den Borre lad has about 15 caps for Belgium, he is no slouch. But You're right he can't defend. I saw him get destroyed by Reyes in the Belgium v Spain WC qualifier.

I'll tell you what though, going forward he is going to be a superstar. He was like Cafu but with a bit less composure. If he had a good coach who could teach him how to defend and learned how to relax when he got into the opposition box than he could be one of the best in the world.

They should get a new right back and chuck him on the wing then.

Which team needs a right winger?

He does look a classy youngster.

As for Jar, it's weird whats happened to him, he offers versatility but isn't a specialist in either position, or top class in either, it is becoming an issue now. If only Kewell could find his form.
