Fenerbahçe SK play host to German club FC Schalke 04 looking to continue a run of consecutive 3-0 home victories in the UEFA Champions League. Fenerbahçe were 3-0 winners against last season’s beaten semi-finalists PSV Eindhoven at the Sükrü Saraçoglu stadium on Matchday 2, the same scoreline by which they defeated Manchester United FC in their final home match in Group D of the UEFA Champions League last season. Schalke are looking for their first UEFA Champions League win this season. A 1-0 defeat at PSV was followed by an exhilarating 2-2 draw with AC Milan on Matchday 2, and expectations are high for another top quality game.

I can't see Schalke beating Fenerbahce at home, but i'm sure they want it badly

Schalke needs a win or at least a draw. i think a draw is the best they can get, can't see them win this one.

i think schalke will win 2-3 thumbsup.gif

but actually i would have been happy with a draw, cause schalke will beat fenerbahce and psv at home and then they should have 8 points, which should be enough for going to the next round.

and i think its possible for schalke to steal points away against milan. not normally, but its in the last game and then i think milan already is through, so they will rest their key players and got nothing to play for (if they are number 1).

i have to admit that i like fenerbahce, i think they play good football, have some good and creative players (like alex), a nice stadium and great atmosphere. i also like their kits thumbsup.gif

Fenerbache are tough to beat at home and the best thing for Schalke to get is a draw.1-1

Very unfortunate mistake for keeper Volkan. Altough they did come back to draw, with a great goal from Appiah...Fenerbahce shouldve got a better result

Great game, was very exciting and i must say i feel for the Fenerbahche Keeper, what a blunder? great goal from Appiah too.
IceInWinger
Appiah's goal was SUPERB.. im willing to admit it was marginally better than Henry's goal last night.. laugh.gif cuz there were more defenders in front of him and the GK would have been expecting him to shoot and hence was more aware of the shot...
however Henry had less space to manoeuver the ball around..

and that's just how it is thumbsup.gif . respect to Schalke for this performance in the second half. it was great game to watch but unluckily keeper Rost had not the best position to save Appiah shot. sad.gif
its kind of unbelieveable that Lincoln scored both goals with his left foot because he just scored 2 goals with his left foot in the last 4 years.
