FC Porto, still smarting from their loss to FC Artmedia, a second defeat in as many UEFA Champions League Group H games, face another tough task as they entertain an FC Internazionale Milano side topping the pool after taking maximum points from their opening fixtures. The Portuguese club also made a slow start last season (picking up two points from four games), but recovered to progress through the group stage.

Porto need to start by selecting the right players on the pitch and not playing people out of position. A draw for Porto will be a good result but they really need the win... The quality is present Quaresma, Diego, Ibson, Lucho Gonzalez etc but it must be used correctly.

First off, I think no matter what happens Porto will be the ones controling the game more, like usual but 2 things will happen in this game.
1. Control the game a lot but still manage to lose by counter attacks
2. Porto might make a comback by actually winning this game.
Who knows. I don't think and Portuguses has ever beaten Inter before... thats not good to know.
I really don't know whats gonna happen, this may be Co's last game if Porto loses.

I am really cheering for you guys here, I want Porto to rape Inter but you guys need to make a huge turn around after facing us on saturday. I think you need to play Jorge Costa and Emanuel they are going to help you alot and I think he should start off with Quaresma. I team like inter your going to need a player who can do things on his own, I know he hogs but I game like this I think your gonna need someone who can do that. If he plays like he has been in the U 21 then im expecting a great game and theres no way Inter is going to have a confortable win, you are underestimating Porto greatly if you think that I am thinking a 2-1 win for Inter at most or I think Porto will win this because they are due for a win right about now and a team like Porto isn't going to leave the CL without a win so this could be the one they are looking for
Cmon Porto you can do it lets show them what Portuguese are all about!

Imo, Porto's lineup should be.
---------------------------------------Baia------------------------------
-Bosingwa-----------Jorge Costa---------Emanuel-----------Cesar-----
---------------------------Lucho---------------Ibson-----------
--------------------------------------Diego---------------------------
-----------Quaresma--------------------------------------Jorginho-----------
----------------------------------Hugo Almeida--------------------
But I personally doubt it will look like that.
Jorge won't play, heck I'm having doubts Emanuel will play. Hugo will of course be on the bench for McCarthy who has done nothing to deserve a starting spot. I hardly notice he's playing and when he finally gets a chance, it's always a really good chance but he manages to find a way to screw up.
If Helton wasn't injured, I would of had him replace Baia. Baia is starting to really losing it. And take the Benfica game for example. The first goal by Nuno Gomes, Baia didn't even move. I hate that, even if he wasn't gonna save it, I wanna see and effort because you never know. I've seen Helton and he's not really that type of goalkeeper, makes an effort all the time.
Jorge Costa is needed badly to organize the defence etc.

Where have u been for the last 5-6 years, since the barcelona debacle Baia hasnt moved much. Over rated!
He was well protected with the defense in front of him, but not gonna even mention all that great talent; in one shape or another all those defenders have all started for team portugal.
Now that the defense is broken, we really see Baia for what he is(although i must admit he did start of the season well)

Porto really needed the win, and Inter did not and they went for it that is good for FC Porto they will have a chance now to capitalise and qualify for knockout stages.
on the point about people underestimating Portuguese teams its a fact they are always underestimated by many people but I do not blame them because they dont have big payrolls to spend on well known big players, (its all about the Loot!!) but it doesnt mean that the teams dont have talent far from the truth. Also because not as many people watches Portuguese soccer so they aren't sure what to expect so some fans will always come to Portugal expecting a 3-0 victory, maybe they will if they are a great team, otherwise they could even lose 4-1 like Newcastle did last season in the estadio Jose Alvalade to Sporting.

Q's on another level for a winger. Hes so relaxed on the ball. Very nice performance. He nearly scored also with a nice curling effort. Porto had to win and I would love to see a double against Inter but Adriano will be back and he makes the difference. Hugo.Al was crap. I was laughing when he tried backheal to Benni and flopped.
