hey all i was juz wondering if certain position would do well in certain boots ... or certain boots are meant for certain positions ... like vapours and F50+ for 'quick' players/strikers/winger(henry/robben/ronaldo/duff) ... predator pulses for central mid(lampard/gerrard/ballack/kaka)defenders usually wear azt90(ferdinand/puyol/silvestre) ... and there are those differ like materazzi and davids wear vapours ...
so what are your thoughts on these ?? do u believe certain position wear certain boots ?? or certain boots are meant for certain positions ??

no most important thing os 2 get a comfy boot, u don't c Puyol playing like Ronaldinho n dey where the same boot. Does Davids and Baros and Carragher play like Henry? Fletcher wears the legends but u don't c him laying like Messi. as u can c boots don't matter really as long as their comfy if u can dribble past someonw with ur vapors u'll be able to do it with pulses keeping in mind of comfort.

well i think that boots are made for certain positions sometimes. Like for example, the vapors are mad for strikers and wingers because usually their speed is their biggest asset. Pulses for central midfielders because they run alot and they need shoes that are basically like running shoes. Defenders need total 90s they don't need speed in their game. they need a durable shoe. And playmakers like ronaldinho need legends. There are exceptions like torres or jose reyes is a striker and he wears total 90s. Raul weaers pulses and materazzi wears vapors.

it does not matter. the best example is Ruud. he as worn vapors, tiempos, and now legends. plays the same everytime.and you say defenders dont need speed? where are you coming from? they need speed to keep up with forwards! roberto carlos aint slow is he? and guess what he wears total 90's.

what u said hbtham is true, but its true that certain posistions wear certain boots. And i do think it matters. WHen a back goes sliding in and gets stepped on i'll bet hes glad to have on those thin vapors.

plenty of the greates defenders in the world wear the vapors eg Thuram and Carragher. I tell u it really doesn't matter as long as it is comfy.
mexes too, i think that with the exception of vapors and cellerators, any boot for any position as long as its comfy. and i wear t90 coz i dont use leather, ethical purcchase. if i did i would buy pulse.so god damn comfy

boots are marketed by companies to make u THINK that u need them for ur position. like im a forward i NEED vapors. or i like to cross so i better buy pulses. the thing is guys, if ur a fast forward with VERy wide feet, and no arch. i don't care IF vapors ARE made for strikers, u better not wear them or ull be sorry you did. saying that like f 50s are for midfielders while total 90's are for defenders is really nothing more than a STEROTYPE. i mean im sure that ur shoes won't get offended that u sterotype them 
, but still tahts what ur doing. its funny how people say that ya defenders don't need to worry abuot speed, but if forwards have a lot o speed, and defenders don't care about speed, wouldn't that mean that ur defenders would SUCK? they'd get out run every time. and also people say that if ur a defender and wear vapors that they'll laugh when u get stepped on cuz it will hurt, well, i have a bunch of diff boots going from synthetics to leather to mix, and if u get stepped on, doens't it hurt anyways? if anything vapors should hurt less cuz ya they are thin, but its synthetic and is stronger than leather. and if k leather gives u so much better touch than synthetic, wouldn't taht mean that they'd hurt MORE than if u got stepped on while u were wearing syn boots? just a few questions for u guys to ponder about.

Like my amigo romeo explained its just big compaines marketing stuff. They assume that all players of a certain possie are the same, so they must wear a particular boot. Its all bs.

I say this goes up as one of the worst posts of the year. if nike told you eskimos needed speedos for mobility in cold weather would you take that as the gospel ? Oh nike alsw told me to tell yout that fire is freezing cold.... and you should roll around in the next one you see to cool off.
certain boots are made for certian postions and playing styles but it doesnt effect the way u play u if u good u will play good in any boots
