I don't like this one because Nesta is out of position, Gerrard is not a DM, and Gerrard and Lamps together with Zidane and Ronaldinho spells trouble.

I don't like this one because of the back three, that has two flying full backs and one central defender, that spells trouble.
The attack is very good apart from giggs prime or not, there are better left Plyrs out there.

A line-up picked from my favorite players--not necessarily the most-talented bunch, but the ones I have a habit of pulling for when they're on the pitch. Robbo's a must in goal, and could prosper under Kahn's tutelage--cheat sheets, anyone? Sol's past his prime, but is still a force to be reckoned with--especially when paired with Rio, who anchors my back four--and isn't going to be left off any squad I have a hand in making. On the left wing, Trabelsi has turned heads in Holland and Germany with his solid defense and ingenious attacking; rapidly-improving juventino Chiellini is similarly capable and versatile enough to play quite far up when called upon for offense. In the mid-field are two players (Schweinsteiger and Sneijder) whose World Cup play was entertaining and, on the right side, Camoranesi--who took part in many of the better highlights from la Vecchia Signora's twenty-ninth scudetto-winning season. Wearing the captain's band, ADP is my offense's fulcrum--a legend. He is responsible for set pieces and smart passes in to Defoe (I'll take him if you won't, Sven) and--of course--Roonaldo.

The subs bench is pretty much an "honorable mention" on my favorites list. Why do you have to play Del Piero's position, Jay-Jay?
