first of all, how much U.S. is it? the same as the other one?
second, is there any difference from these and the white and red ones
third, if i fit in 10 1/2 in mostly any boots then what should i get in these?
and lastly, how many of these/how long will they last?

Not sure US - it is AU$290.00. The white and red ones have the midsole wedge, these don't and are nearer the original Spark model. You should probably go for a size 10. There are quite a few of them in stock now, so should be around for a little while.

Is Nomis going to keep releasing wet-grip boots, or is it going to be scrapped/modified?
Of course! Wet Control is probably one of the biggest break throughs in football boot innovation since the predator! (Well, IMO!). A leather boot that gets grippier when wet will always be needed. It really is a remarkable technolgoy. Nomis has a two boot concept and Dual and Wet Control are here to stay! I've seen some of the future Wet Control boots in development and I have to tell you that they are bloody awesome! (That's my Australian in me!)
Thanks

what's the midsole wedge do? any advantages that the red/white HK07s have over the green/yellow?

The midsole wedge really does two things - firstly the comfort/injury factor. It significantly reduces the shock and forces that go through your ankle and heel - the comfort is superb! Secondly it raises your heel slighlty so your foot is pre-positioned in a "sprint" position. (A bit like having starting blocks). I know people might say that this is just "in your head" but people who have worn boots with the midsole in, say they feel like they pick up speed quicker and get to the ball faster.

Thanks AHCL20.
Nomis, I noticed when I went onto the website it said they are currently out of stock. Have they started selling them yet and are they in rebel sport stores yet or not? Are all rebel sports stocking them?
Sorry for all the questions but I am so excited. I think i'll buy them. I just love 'em.

Hi
At the moment the HK10s are only available through shopnomis.com. We have just integrated a new stock system into the online shops to improve the service, but we are just waiting on an initial stock level of the boots until they appear online as "available". Should be this evening.
Really not sure what is happening with the indoor boots, sorry.
Thanks

Both the HK's look awesome. I saw the hk07's in rebel sport the other day and they look sick but im not such a big fan of the 7 on the heel.
However both great looking boots.

can you make a special edition hk07 turf for me

i want a pair so bad but i dont have a team so spending alot of money on a sg/fg boot would have little use for me, but i play week in week out on turf.
AHCL20
Oct 14 2006, 10:00 AM
I don't really think Nomis turf boots have kicked off here in the UK yet. I have never seen anyone wear them.
I have a pair myself (Glove turf) and the fit is very strange. Maybe that's why people aren't convinced yet. (Plus the fact that they retail at 70 pounds, making them the most expensive astro boots in the country along with the Predator a3.)
Finally, indoor boots may just get the nod ahead of turf boots when it comes to development. Just that those who play indoors tend to do that all year round, whereas some people aren't willing to play outdoors in the winter.

Do they only cost AU$300?? For two pairs of boots?...that's less than 1 pair of Vapors in Swedish crowns!

Too bad they only go down to 7.5

Hi, yes they should be available now - try
www.shopnomis.com/au/DisplayDetail.aspx?which=199Check out the returns/delivery policy on that website too for the answers to your questions, but don't worry sizing returns (as long as they show no signs of wear, still in perfect condition, have not got any dirt/mud etc on them) you can return them for a different size (you pay for the return to Nomis, they pay to have it shipped back). And of course defective products are covered under the standard returns policy.
Thanks

My local stores sold out of gloves and sparks before i got a chance to try them on and i only just got the chance while i was away this weekend. Pretty impressed. I guess its no coincidence the fit is pretty similar to preds? A bit wider and lighter tho. Seriously considering that control freaks offer... Only thing is i dont start training again until janurary, so its the good deal vs getting the newest stuff.

Also, i noticed on shopnomis there is an image of the HK07's as the splash, perhaps add a direct link to the boot to make it easier to access on the site?

dry control in wet conditions, i've never actually seriously tried... wet control in dry weather still works very well
i think the stat is like 2x dry in wet, and 4x wet in dry. feel free to correct me michael

question though michael, is it normal for the bottom of the insole to wear away? cause you can't see the rubber patterns on the bottom of the insole anymore.. and do you recommend when that happens, to switch insoles to the other pair that is provided?

That's a very good deal on the gloves!
The media is going nuts over Harry Kewell at the moment, the story is everywhere you look/listen. Australian viewers make sure to watch SBS on Sunday at 2pm - HK apparently has spent 5 minutes talking about the boots.
I just can't get over some of the stuff he has said to the media (without us knowing):
What a line: “But it’s just time to think about my feet.”
One very happy Nomis camp today!

I'd go for the Gloves - they give you "far better grip that other boots" in the dry anyway.
