First off, congrats on the Kewell boot of choice

My question relates to the Flare, someone else posted a simliar question but guess it got lost in the mix. Maybe it is just the picture, but what is the 'mesh like' material? Is that the new wet control material, just it is so different from the Glove which has the same wet control properties. Second smaller question, on the shop site the Flare 'gold' sorta looks a mustard color, I am guessing it is much more vibrant in person is it? Are other color ways coming soon and when will the two tone silver be on the shop site? I'm looking at getting a pair for sure but due to lame injury wont be playing until like January so wondering if I should be waiting .

I tried on some blackout gloves in soccerscene yesterday and was allowed to kick a ball around in the shop, they felt amazing. I think its great that Kewells doing this, and im happy for Nomis. The white/red hk07 look different class, and i would definently get them if they didnt have kewell written on them, but theyre still very nice.

The Glove is by far the best Nomis boot out there. Not even the newer releases such as the Instinct or Flare can match.

If its possible can you get me the deal too dude that is such a great deal, or if its online could you tell me the address? Please I am just as desperate as 'ewu'.

Michael if i am size 9.5 in predator what size would i be in nomis glove. I want to convert as i have i heard only the best. It sounds like Nomis actually care about customer satisfaction.

No, the gold on the Flares really is that colour. Its very dull. If you're getting Flares, go for the silver/black.

And Michael, why does Nomis stock Instinct in SG on shopnomis, but not Flare SG? Surely SG Wet Control Boots would make far more sense, or even having both?

I've just bought a pair of Nomis Flare's. I got half a size smaller than I normally do after reading some reports and speaking to a retailer. However, now I've received them, even though they feel really tight on my foot, the heel seems to slip very very slightly. It still is a slight problem even if I wear two pairs of socks.

Has anybody else had this problem and know if there's anything to sort this out??? I can't see getting another half a size smaller will make the difference, because for a start my foot won't fit in it!!

Cheers for any advice. Apart from that, the boots are mustard.

Shudoh, that is exactly the problem I had when I bought the Glove indoor. I eventually bought half a size smaller, altho it was a very tight fit in the beginning, but eventually the leather stretched and the boot was wearable.

i had the same problem. when i first tried on my gloves they were really tight but after a practice they moulded quite nicely.
I still suffer from some heel slippage though. Maybe try the flatter insoles?
My heel lifts a little but i guess i got used to it after a while.
I also use different laces cuz the supplied laces are a little too stretchy for my tastes. Took the laces off my azt3s.

sorry guys/girls got the price on the gloves wrong they are on sale for $200 aussie dollars i got the price wrong cos they put the glove on the black pearl shelf! and it was really the pearl that ws $160 on sale. tried them on but they were too big and they didnt have any smaller but the shop owner is going to pick some up for me from another store and give me the sale price so im cheering!

and when i did try them on my heel slips at the back too, but im still getting them.

iv just got some sg flares black and silver i usually were a 10 so i got a 9 as i was advised and they fit awsum the only problem i have found is like others have is a bit of heal slip i dont want to change the insoles as the 1s that are in are realy cumfy. any 1 got any ideas. i cant go a size smaller i wudnt get my feet in. im sure sum little rubber grips wud stop this like on the total 90 2s. bar that they are great boots.

What insoles have you got in there and what size did you buy?

the ones with the curled sides (not the flat ones lol) and i got size US 10s
i put both insoles in at the same time and it seem to make it better but i only put them in and walked around a little bit

the blister is at the bottom of the achilles, not the bottom of my foot

look at the rugby wales v austrailia. lathem is wearing new nomis i think he is number 15! i will try and get pictures.

If I get my ankles taped or wear ankle braces (small ones, lace up ones) should I still get a half size smaller for a pair of gloves? Also is it possible to get the control freaks deal still? And is the shipping price to the U.S. also come with a tax that must be paid?

I just looked at my adidas cleats and on the tag they say a size US 10 is a size UK 9.5, but then I looked at my nike cleats and on their tag they say size US 10 is a size UK 9. Which is the choice to use if I am going to buy a pair of nomis with a UK size?

Go down a size in US to US 9 and that converts to UK 8............... .

Looks like Latham is wearing a semi-blacked out flare/instinct, I think they look alright

Good eyes people! Yes Chris has a special blacked out Nomis Flare - Black with a white tounge area and an Australian (green & Yellow) Logo. (The Australian team are not allowed to wear anything but black boots).

question to anyone owning both nomis glove or sparks, and predators...how does the sizing difference run. i wear a 7 in adidas predators, 7.5 in vapors and 7.5 in v1.06s. any one know what size to get in gloves or sparks?

My pulses are 8.5US
while my gloves and sparks are 8US
But then again I like my boots tight. But comparing the sizes, the 8.5 pulse is pretty close to being the same size as the glove/spark in size 8

any one know where i can get instinct in white and gold. got them on the nomis web site but they are like 140 quid i got my flares for 95 and they are great but no web site have the instict in the white and gold colour way. also the booklet i got with my boots shows a pair of instinct in 2 tone silver iv never seen then before are they out. and one more when are the 2007 colour ways released.

yea, i'm holding my breath for new colorways as well, hoping for early jan. as that is when i'm gettin a pair of nomis somthing .

For anyone that has some boots, what is the size difference between us/uk, as someone stated for adidas is .5, nike 1.0, what is nomis?

i had the nomis the spark fg (yellow/black) and they absoloutely killed my feet, later on i found out that my foot was slightly the wrong shape for the boot and i had to take them back, so before purchasing the boots turn them over and match the sole of the boot to your foot to avoid unexpected complications. just a little something that i thought that i would pass on lol

i've had the black gloves for a while now and they are extremely durable especially as i am using them for rugby. they are really comfy except the underside of the tongue is kind of bulky. i might post a review of them and my vapors soon, probably not today as i have homework

i was cleaning my flares yday after training and iv found a small rip were the toe section of leather meets the boot section its realy small. iv worn them for 1 game and 3 training sessions. i dont no weather to send them back or to just keep them.
