Well I bought a set of Gloves last night. really wanted to buy either the Instincts or the Spark HK07's but they hurt my feet standing in the sports shop. i have extremely wide feet, I was expecting the leather to be tight knowing that it will stretch/mould to my foot, but the outer edge of the sole is too narrow and the actual sole was hurting my feet. The gloves werent too bad so I bought them. i am having second thoughts now. i feel like i bought the boots I liked rather than the boots that will feel best during a game. i might have to take them back and swap for something more wide fitting like XBoot.

WOOT. I saw the new indoor range today. Amazing. For me, one of the boots is just the best Nomis shoe ever. I'm going to see if I can get permission to post some pics.

i loved mine, they were very comfy except the unerside of the tongue was a bit bulky. but apart from that they were great.

They were the first prototypes. They have since been developed further and in my opinion blow those ones out of the water.

Im looking for an indoor shoe that is comfy, durable, VERY thin at the front (to get under the ball easier), and has good grip (one of Nomis' specialties from what ive heard)

Since there is less wet control area on the Flare than the Glove, it seems that this should decrease the effectivenesss of the technology. Can anyone verify if this is true, or is the difference unnoticeable?

Also, if anyone has owned both The Glove and the Flare, can you compare the two boots from an overall standpoint? I own a pair of Gloves, and they are amazing boots, but I will be needing to replace them for this upcoming season. Thanks.

The indoor shoe range is in the last throws of development. Details on the range have not been released yet but they are due for release in May/June 07 I believe. Also would not be able to give a price point for them yet.

So did someone say that the Spark MS are going to be released in a few weeks?? Any dates?

HelloNomis, sorry but I have one more question about the Flare FG boot. What is the material between the Wet Control sections of the upper? It almost looks like the dry control leather to me. Thanks again.

Doesn't MS mean Mid-Sole? Judging by the pics on pg100 there is no mid-sole on the Black/White.

WHOA! AU$230 for those Excel running shoes? They had better be advertised by a gun name or they will fail miserably. I run 3-5km a morning so churn through shoes at a regular rate & have gone through most brands & quite a few models. At that price they are competing with the upper end Asics, NB & Brooks as well as MY personal fave, the Adidas Supernova. Hell I wear almost nothing but miAdidas running shoes & they only cost me an extra $10! I'll take performance, customization AND a perfect fit over a mass produced model anyday.

Is it just me or do they look incredibly similar to New Balance models? Especially the older 7 series.

I know this isn't a very positive thing to say, but since I have received my Nomis Sparks from soccer.com I have used them in 11 practices and I am seeing major durability issues. I hope my boots are faulty and can exchange them, but this is a warning. I am not sure of other people's experiences. The control film on the boots has already started tearing and peeling off at the toes of the boots, a small 2 millimeter hole was cut off when someone cleated me, and the insole of one of my shoes already has fabric peeling away from the foam.

Dissapointing and I am contacting shayne. I hope I can get a replacement.

WOW! That sux if it is all legit & not just a faulty pair or something. I've had light training runs, just minor skills sessions & some general kickarounds with mates & mine still look brand new. Well as new as white can. Please keep any updates posted if you can, I'm very interested to see how this pans out.

I am really bummed about it and I really hope I got a faulty pair. I also hope I can get a replacement pair because they still feel good although their durability isn't good on my pair

yeah, apparently with Nomis, its hit or miss with durability. my sparks are still holding together after a season, practice and playing every day. my nine pincers i had fell apart after 4 weeks use. my black pearls are still in perfect working order after half a season.. hopefully they can make 100% yield, cause their products rock

If you mean flat as no to low arch then I think that becomes an orthotic insole type of deal not a boot thang. If you mean wide then you should be ok. I have a fairly broad foot, 10-10.5 Pred, & I slot into a 9.5 Nomis with the same orgasmic pleasure as when... Ahem.

Ah, just coming on here to tell you all about that.

The server hosts in America got infected with some virus and they had to shut down a lot of their servers to stop it doing any damage. Typically shopnomis's website was on one of those servers. Typically this happens during a promotion time! Anyway, the shop will be down for a few days whilst it is migrated to a new server.

The Excel promotion will be extended as many days as the site is down. If you want to send me a PM and I will make sure that you get the chance to take the offer.
