need help in sizing since i couldnt find anything on search. i wear 10.5 in nike and adidas what size would you recomend its good for me on nomis

varies by what boot you want, but I believe (correct me if wrong) its 1 size down for instincts/flares and .5 for most the others(spark/glove), should be a number of related postings as I recall

Btw, I know a few posted about heel slippage, including it driving me crazy with my Flares, found this great little pads that did the trick for me:

These are the Instincts for 07 (Australia). The Glove is just in the Black/White/Gold model as currently.

On the new gloves, where the old ones say wet control on the side, it says something different but I can't quite see what it says. can you fill me in...

I got my nomis(Black Pearl) about 1 week ago and after I used them the white stripe in the midel looks kind of yellowish, more on the right side of the boot then the left because thats the foot I use to shoot mostly. Did anybody have this also?

The biggest worry I found in that was "d. Nomis branded footwear does not provide better grip than adidas branded footwear, whether in dry or wet conditions". Isn't that almost the whole of the Nomis selling point? Having to say it's BS must be close to fraudulent advertising no? I mean if I, as I was, was to be trying to decide between Preds or Sparks & went with Sparks on the basis tha they give more control then have I not been rorted?

I'm hardly going to ring the ACCC but it would seem a fair call to make.

Come on, does that retraction sound very sincere to you? Because adidas has more money and power than nomis they've gone and got a court order or put other legal pressure to force nomis to withdraw those statements. Its bullshit and typical of adidas. Or have we all forgotten when they threatened soccerpulse with legal action if we allowed pictures of unreleased adidas to be posted?
To be honest, nomis' marketing has targeted adidas more than anyone else, with the whole kewell thing and that video where they compared sparks and gloves with manias. Also they're probably pretty pissed that a former top empolyee has gone out on his own in direct competition with them. Not to mention that on the surface the original boots (spark, glove) seemed to resemble preds (elastic tounge, sole config, basic sillouette etc). But thats still no reason to legally muscle them into this sort of situation.
I wonder if anyone had the time/cash/balls (and could be bothered) if you could get a similar retraction out of adidas, proving that the predator and powerpulse tecnology is bullshit, and has been for years? Of course you could, only no one has all of those things.

And AB, if you like the boots, and youve seemed to be pretty happy with them, wtf would you call the accc? I for one am going to stay loyal, right until i see or hear a confession from simon himself saying the whole thing was a scam.

Money & power matter not if the claims could be proven. Fact is if the info was available to substantiate the figures then obviously they wouldn't be forced to pull the advertising. No matter what sinister forces may or may not be afoot due to Adidas noone is going to have a legal warning given to them if what they say can be verified as true.

Your right though, up to this point I am more than happy with them & only time will tell for how long, but I dont see where the downside to them is. In fact as of tomorrow night I'll have sold 5 pairs. Not as a retailer just a word-of-mouth unashamed fan!

Yeh, i didnt mean to come on so harsh but adidas has a precident for this kinda thing. Its not so much that they have to prove it because its not something that can really be proven. Nomis would have to back down so as to not face a possibly lenghtly and costly legal battle. They've been out muscled and are going to have to design and implement a new marketing plan. The plus is that it shows they must've made quite an impact in the market for adidas to resort to these sorts of measures. Either that or they really got under adidas' skin.

Yeh, they're ok. Nothing on the white/gold sparks i tried today tho. There was also these nine pincers (they said dual control anyways) that were black on the outside and white on the instep with orange trim, like valencia colours. They look awesome, id only ever seen the outside before so i thought they were all black.

Cant wait til the nomis shop is actually updated. I hate just seeing the range in bits and pieces.

Mate I was just gonna post about they boots... I checked Shopnomis.com and there is no Spark SG red/white... I know on the eBay page it says they're FG but look at the studs , theyre clearly SG...so I dunno if theyre fake or whatever... the guy has good feedback though.
