I just returned my instincts and I am glad that I did. The sparks fit me much better and truly feel like a better boot all around. I do not have the heel fit problems like I did with the instincts. I actually bought the same size sparks as instincts and they stretched perfectly. I would rate the sparks up there with my predator manias.

wow! thats saying a lot...so I usually wear a 10.5 US but my Instincts were 9 US, should I go with a 10 or 9.5 in the Sparks?

Are the sparks you're wearing with the raised heel (MS) or the original model? I'm just wondering if the MS models will have the same heel slippage problem folks seem to be having with the Instincts.

If your instincts fit you well I would go with the exact same size or at most 1/2 bigger in the sparks. Before I wore mine I did the shower trick - and probably did not need to do it at all.



The sparks I have are the original. After the Instincts I really had no desire to try the MS version.

I have the chance to buy instincts but already have the black pearl and the glove, are the instincts any better or should I just get another pair of the ones I already have? From the last few pages the instinct don't seem too good!

how are the shots in the sparks power wise compared to the instincts?

I believe the power in the sparks to be just the same as the instincts - if not better. The whol raised heel was quite troublesome, plus it just seems like you feel the ball better in the sparks vs. the instincts since the lace cove is not as thick.



I would certainly get the sparks/glove/pearl over the instincts

thanks big red...I play football(american) and need cleats that would suit being a kicker for the football team..would the sparks still be better?

Who do you play for? I played for Pirates in the Sydney comp for a while. Just curious is all.

When I kicked, I still wanted a shoe that had a good touch. I would recommend the sparks. But maybe you should go for a soft ground version - unless you play on turf.

Anwyay, i'm on my second pair of Nomis boots for this season, donated my Glove's to my brother as he prefers them to be 'worn in'. I purchased the Spark, and I must say it feels better for some reason.

Any news on the new turfs Michael? Any pictures, release dates, models, colorways, anything?

if i wear a 9.5 US in sparks, what should i get in the gloves? 9 or a 9.5 also?

oh and do the gloves form fit really well because i heard that they are a wider fit and i have a more narrow foot...would they still fit tight?

I would get the same size in the gloves as you did in the sparks. Is there a reason you would switch? Do you really play in wet conditions that much more? Since the gloves are wider, they will not be as snug as the sparks. You can always stretch a boot larger/wider, but not make it smaller/narrower.

My gloves and sparks are the same size, they fit fine.

yes they are authentic. i had that colourway in the nomis glove.

Sydney/Aussie residents, Insport have 50% of all boots and Nomis is among them. The sparks are down to $145 and Gloves $115. BLOODY BARGAIN!! go pick up a pair or two.

Nope. I went to two insports and they only have the black/white/gold gloves, white/gold sparks and some black ish nine pincers.

I have the same boot in white/gold. Wore them for the first time last night at training and they felt pretty good for a first time boot. Most boots I wear, it takes while to get comfortable but these felt great first time.

That color way has been out for a while. You should love those boots. After playing in my sparks 2 games a week for the last 4 weeks I love them. If I could, I would actually by a second pair. I am not sure what you have worn in the past, but the sparks have a great feel, support, and the grip is something you really must see for yourself to believe.

Could someone who has had experiance with a pair of Gloves tell me how much the leather streches, as i've got a pair on the way and i'd like them to be tight and stay tight around my foot!

My last pair of Copas streched that much that i couldn't wear them any more and they where a size UK 8!

They stretch in terms of moulding to your foot, if that makes any sense. I can confirm they are very tight around your foot after a while, I've had my Gloves for about 13 months before buying my pair of sparks and they are awesome. Just make sure you buy half a size smaller like suggested by Michael.

I love how on them, the tongue is long enough to cover all the laces rather than on the preds where you have to stretch it.

imo the tongue is fine if you take the laces out of the top eyelets.

Well there you go, what are the top eyelets there for? For the laces to go through so why should you have to take the laces from them to get the tongue to do what it's supposed to do and cover the laces.

well if you tie your boots tight enough, it shouldn't matetter if the top eyelets are being used or not. However i do agree the tonge should be made longer.

Hey..does anyone know where I could find some MS for cheap? I found the red ones for about $150 US but I like the green MS so much more...any help???

They almost look synthetic in the pics, but they are fantastic!

Oh and does the heel tend to be flat or does it slip off at all (MS) because my Instincts have the same looking heel and i was wondering if nomis corrected it or not..thanks!

About the raised heel i cant even really feel it . its so comfortable!
I recommend to buy! played my verse game today it was rainging and the grip in the rain is very good!

Hi, my gloves came yesterday, they feel really nice but can some one tell me what the extra insoles are for?

And whats the best way to clean them? I usually just chuck my boots in a bucket of water and scrub them with a brush!
