Wow they look very nice! I tried my Nomis gloves for the first time today and I'm sorry to say I wasn't impressed. The heel is tilted inwards and digs into my achiles tendon. Does this problem sort it's self out? At present I have to wear these gel heel pads at the back (that I bought to stop my heel moving) so my heel is lifted. I really don't want to have to wear them all the time as they take ages to put in.

Today in a FourFourTwo mag I saw a Nomis ad with a pair of green wet control HK's (with white heel)!!! Are they gloves? special sparks (lol?)? or something new? They looked awesome.

Well the mag was from the skool library lol so I can't really...although there might be a scanner in there somewhere...I'll have a look. And yeh I think it's from the one with Aloisi on the front i.e July edition. I'm pretty sure it is coz I was reading that one and a couple of other old ones but i doubt the boots are a few months old..

Sorry, I've just been so busy with Nomis that I forgot to tell you all about this. The HK Gold 10 is a special edition Midsole version of the Glove which will has been launched to coincide with the Asia Cup - HK will be wearing it. It features a breakthrough in control leather technology with the first coloured - two tone Wet Control. Pictures really don't do this boot justice as the gold and green really sparkle from different directions.

Best Nomis Boots Ive Seen So Far..

I love what Nomis has been making lately, but I really think they're taking the Kewell part a bit too far...I'd much rather buy boots that don't have someones name written across them.

They only do it as a "celebration" thing.

Like when Kewell chose Nomis over adidas ... they made the Spark HK10 (for his Socceroos games) and Spark HK7 (for his Liverpool games).

Now they're just making another one for his Socceroos games. But this time Asian Cup!

Hahaha, yea. true. But do realise that this is "very big" for Nomis. Not everyday that a player would just dump adidas for Nomis. And seeing that Kewell's Australian, it helps Nomis further in marketing within the Australian market.

And possibly the world too! Seeing that HK will wear them on the international stage and in the Premier League ... (I hope he stays at Liverpool lol )

Yeah! To be honest, I reckon these HK10 Gold (Gloves) look better than the HK10 Sparks. Too much emphasis on the yellow on the HK10 Sparks in my opinion.

Sorry, I'm not really the best person to answer that - surely people here who have the Gloves will be able to answer? It sounds like you may have slightly the wrong fit, or maybe benefit from one of the MS range with the raised heel?

What makes the boots so sticky? is it just something sprayed over the leather? will it wear off i wonder.

No, it's a leather technology so the grip will last the lifetime of the boots. Just keep them clean.

That probably is a good suggestion but my Gloves are turf and as for as I know there isn't a Glove MS on the market at present.

The HK Gold 10 is a glove MS and there is going to be a kids glove MS - so not sure what size foot you are but might be able to squeeze into one of those!

Ah, just double read that you have the original turf models, so totally different from the outdoor models - the new turf models due in 07/08 do appear to feature a lower heel. There will actually be different models for turf and astro.

i got my new HK10 sparks today for $180 down from $300 i can't wait to get out on the field with them. they are a very comfortable boot. unfortunately i have to wait untill tuesday to wear them at training but i'm so happy with them.

it sure is they are the exact same price. but have limited sizes. it's this sale that soccer world is having. all boots are 40% off excluding nikes which are 70% off. pretty crazy ay.

Nice!! That's funny. I was originally going after Sells Wrap gloves I think. Didn't have it in my size (8.5), they were going to bring sizes 8, 8.5 and 9 from Mt Gravatt.

In the end ... I just bought uhlsports gloves. I reckon they're better.

So there is absolutely nothing I can do to modify them? would I be alright to cut the high heel down to normal size and them put tape over it so the padding doesn't get out?

Nevermind I'm going to see about sending them back, I'm really not impressed at all, the studs are too short and the heel was dreadful. I spent about an hour at school and an hour at home trying to like them but when I tried to wear them for a game, I took them off during the warm up because they'd ruin my game (I'd be falling all over the place).

I e-mailed Nomis once, and told them I wore US 10 in adidas Predators.
They recommended just buying the US 10 in Nomis Sparks too.
I tried a pair on in a Rebel Sport store, and it seemed alright

i live in america and the only site i could get it from is soccer.com, and i just dont think i could get myself to shell out this kinda cash for a kind of cleats ive never tried or even seen in person
