Assuming you mean a bucket of water - you should not leave your boots soaking in it! Just clean with a soft cloth and cold water.

Opps..my bad!!

haha..English is not even my second language...I just hope you all can bear with my poor English.

It's nice of you hello_nomis for at least trying to make assumption rather than making fun of it.

Yeah..I did mean a "bucket" of water. The reason for soaking the boots in the water was i thought it'd have been easier to remove the dirt/mud sticking to the boots ( I suppose my boots are the older version of Spark, no nomud technology). I didn't let the boots soaked in the water for hours, i took them out as soon as I noticed that the leather proximal to the stitched part turned slightly blue. I really hope that I did not ruin the boots' leather by doing so. The leather's colour did turn back to normal black after allowing it to dry though.
I'll post some pictures of the boots next time.
I'm sorry again for my poor english.

QUOTE(goalshark @ Jun 30 2007, 12:17 PM)

okay thank you so much for the feedback, im still trying to decide which Nomis boot to buy... I also wanted to know what the difference is between the Spark MS and Instinct, like which is considered better for what reasons to different people and why would anyone buy the original spark anymore since the Spark MS came out isnt it the same but upgraded with midsole and nomud technology? Also the original spark does not have nomud technology like you said...
The new colourways of the spark (white/gold, white/black and black gold) do have nomud, its the older ones that dont. Id say the spark is still out so that people have a choice whether they want the big midsole or not.

Why is it only if your size 10 or above to purchase a half-size smaller for Spark and Glove and a full-size smaller for Instinct and Flare? I am size 8 normally so what size would i need for the Instinct? Since im not size 10 or above do I just get size 8?

Hi, I just wanted to say two things, one I wanted to make a suggestion. I wear size 7.5 or 8 normally in the Adidas Predator and so I will need a size 6.5 in the Nomis Instinct but you only sell down to size 7 or 7.5 so I wanted to suggest that you make the Instict available down to size 6 for men, thank you. I also had a question, does anyone know if there is any shop in the state of New York in the United States that sells Nomis cleats so that I can try them on?? Thanks for you help and I love Nomis!

weight won't matter. the comfort, touch, and everything on their boots is so great that you don't even notice the weight. i've worn V1s and currently Vapors but in between, i had, and still do, a pair of Nomis Sparks. they were awesome. they felt just as light as the V1s in matches and everytime i wore them

Hey Michael,
I just tried to submit feedback to Nomis at the nomisfootball.com site and get an error on page. I comment of "test" went through, but my feedback would not. Is there a limit on the length that this textbox can contain? Is there another way to get this to Nomis?

It was probably the HK Gold 10, the first coloured wet control boot and with a midsole.

Hi. I'm going to buy "Harry Kewell HK07 Spark FG" online soon, but I want to ask about shoe size. And I'm wondering if you can help me out. I own a pair of adidas Predator Absolion TRX FG DB boots, size US 10/UK 9.5. What size should I buy for the Nomis HK07 Spark boots?
Their response:

Thanks for your email! I would suggest that a US9.5 would be a correct fit for you. However it can never be 100% - if you have a chance it is always a good idea to get Nomis boots fitted at a store to begin with.
So basically they said about US 9 or 9.5, if you usually wear US 10 with adidas ...

Ofcourse theres no sure answer for everyone but I wear 9 in abs and recently got 8.5 in sparks, they are still very wearable but noticed just a touch of foot movement so think they 8's would have been perfect. But must say they are the most comfortable right out of the box boots i've ever had, i'm usually prone to getting blisters while I work in new shoes for a couple weeks.

when you put it that way it makes sense...but i doubt they will, because wet control generally implies that youll be playing on muddy/soft ground (i.e. grass fields).

New name for dry control, as people thought it wasnt effective in wet conditions yet it still does improve grip. Older colourways of some boots still have drycontrol marked on them.

i think that astroturf is more slippy in the rain then grass pitches because the water don't go down it just lays on the pitch.
