How come there are yellow nomis' on the front opening page but when you go to the store, they're not available? are you guys going to be releasing the yellow colorway anytime soon?
A.N. Speed
I think those are for rugby...
Hello_Nomis
Happy New Year everybody!

A.N. Speed - I have asked Nomis for an update on the USA distribution so please bear with me until I hear back from them.

aclane10 - yes the yellow, officially called "magnetic sun", colour way are available now - Nomis had sold out of them but the latest shipment has arrived. They will be in stores in January and I will be adding them to the online store (along with other newly available colourways) during January.

penf.pat.15 - look forward to seeing your pics and congratulations again on your free pair!!

Thanks
Michael
A.N. Speed
Alright dude, no worries. smile.gif Spring season isn't for a while, still finishing indoor smile.gif

I'm stoked for the new boots! smile.gif
Hello_Nomis
Hi A.N.Speed.

I have more info for you on the USA distribution. This is still being finalised and they are confident that it will all be up and running by June 2006. In the meantime Soccer.com and shopnomis.com can cater for American orders.

Thanks
Michael

Nomis The Glove Blackout

are these worth 60 pound

are these over rated or under rated

www.footyboots4kids.com sell them in junior and lots of adult boots

shall i get these for 60 pound or are they crap???

please reply
penf.pat.15
don't have them myself, but i do have the spark and nine pincer. they are great cleats. i'm not sure if theres a difference in material between adult and jr, but i'm sure they'll still be quite good even if they are made from something else
Hello_Nomis
Man Utd Eddy - going on the feedback which is coming in, you won't be disappointed!

Thanks
Michael
penf.pat.15
^^ ah, thats really nice

Some other companies make their products out of lower quality materials. like calf-skin as opposed to k-leather.

its also nice that they're charging so much less for it, even though its the same boot but smaller

~alex
Brian_005
Makes me want smaller feet..
penf.pat.15
^^ same.. lol

Michael, i got a quick question. my one of the lace loops on my nine pincer cleat broke. if i want to send it back for a replacement, i have to take a picture of it and send it to info@nomissports.com and wait for an evaulation?

~alex

Hi Michael, my appologies for beating a bit of a dead horse here as I have saw there has been a couple of postings and many thanks to Nomis for this forum but I wanted to confirm the sizing recommendations. I ask because the recommendation somewhat implies your changing from non k-leather to k-leather shoes. I wear k-leather pulses and absolutes which are very snug as is and leave little space, should I still be going a 1/2 size down for a dry control boot? Maybe someone who has worn these and one of your dry control boots could comment. No rush as I am eagerly awaiting the new model to come out bigsmile.gif

many thanks
Hello_Nomis
penf.pat.15 - yes, take some pictures and email through to info@nomissports.com and they will go to someone to evaluate them.

shoegoe - yes, would still recommend to get 1/2 a size smaller in the Spark & Glove models.

Thanks
Michael
A.N. Speed
Yup, I got an email from you guys smile.gif

Thank you smile.gif
I'm hoping I can convince a nearby store to get a pair for me to try on, fit and buy >:).
Hello_Nomis
Hi

Great news! I've just been told that USA distribution was agreed over the weekend, and Nomis boots will be available throughout the USA from mid March 2006. Can't believe the speed at which Nomis is spreading. It's great!

As there have been quite a few requests from people here about USA stockists, if anyone in the states want to PM or email me the name and address of your local sports store, Nomis will do their best to get boots in those stores.

Thanks
Michael

Brian_005
Does Nomis have any plans to have distribution in Canada? I'm pretty sure that you said something a while back about a shop in Alberta or somewhere has Nomis but I'm in Ontario and that's no where near me..

Thanks,
Hello_Nomis
Hey all, if you have not registered on the Nomis football site yet, please do so over the next couple of weeks. Can't say too much at the moment, but working on something fantastic for Nomis members in the immediate future.

Brian, I'm not sure about Canada, I will ask.

Thanks
Michael
A.N. Speed

Thanks
Michael

i gotta say..nomis is probably the company that takes the best care of you as a customer..unfortunatly i dont have any of their boots, as theyre hard to get here...but just from what ive seen on her is amazing..well done
A.N. Speed
When does the new boot come out! I'm dying to see this "new technology" and try it on!!!
Hello_Nomis
I can now say - just came back from a meeting with Simon - The new shoes will be officially launched at the Commonwealth Games, Melbourne in March. Secrecy is the key - already closed down a dozen sites giving sneak previews... wink.gif

I'm also really, really excited about something which is going to happen on Feb 1. So much to do before then, but it's something really unique and great! (In my humble opinion).

Thanks
Michael

Juventus_supporter
smile.gif I live melbourne, i guess you guys will release them in melb first? Can you give us any clues about the Fab 1 avent or is it stricly private?
Hello_Nomis
I'll find out where the first commercial releases will be and let you know.

Can't really say much about what's coming up on the 1st Feb... I think it will be a great opportunity though and one I wouldn't miss.

I'll ask if I can release some info. I really want to let slip about their new technology!

Thanks
Michael

A.N. Speed
Time to do some good searches for info! tongue.gif

Anyway, feb 1 is almost here so don't buy another pair of boots yet Paul >.<
penf.pat.15

Hello_Nomis
Bit of a double post as I put this in the other Nomis thread as well (just want to capture as much info as I can): butI am looking to gather any remaining feedback about nomis boots for their new website, which goes live very, very soon. If you have a pair, please send me some info (good or bad) to michael@hellomedia.com.au

its Nomis time!
Akai Harrison
WELL!!! whats there?
A.N. Speed
Is it the spoiler and magnet? I'm so confused! I can't find it >.<

I also see that you guys are testing out new indoor shoes -> I'm currently playing futsal so if you get them in stock in a place that ships to the Boston MA area, let me know and I can either test them for you, (sucks up) or buy a pair and write a review.

Ive noticed that Nomis arent a very popular or well known brand over in Syd. I saw them for the first time just the other day - and the store wasnt exactly a football boots store. I dunno if its just me but yer...

There was the light blue boot and a yellow boot - I dont remember the actual name, but looking over the internet, i think they were the sparks smile.gif
AHCL20
Hell, I'm in Hong Kong at the moment and it's been 1 Feb for 17 hours... still no sign of the email or update......
Hello_Nomis
Hang in there folks... We're looking at 1st Feb (UK time)... so hopefully later on tonight (Australia time) there should be something to announce. Worst case scenario tomorrow morning. It's coming soon!!

footballfan10 - can you tell me what store you saw the boots in? Nomis have carefully selected the top chains and specialist football stores in Australia so it would be interesting to know where you saw them. Also, the Nomis range has only just been released through retailers in Australia - the stores are still being product trained at the moment. I am sure that you should hopefully start seeing more of them soon!

Thanks
Michael

Edit @ 1am...

Ok, sorry I'm going to send this out tomorrow now. It's ready to be sent but I don't want to send it and get loads of emails back with questions when I am sleeping! Apologies.
A.N. Speed

Hello_Nomis
Hi All

OK, as promised, here are details of the latest Nomis offering. It's a good one, and please if you have any questions, please ask. (Newsletter pasted below)

Thanks
Michael

It's been all systems go here at Nomis and we are thrilled to be able to make two great announcements. Firstly, we've got ourselves a much bigger and better football website that's packed full of really great stuff and secondly, we have just launched the fantastic new Control Freaks scheme.

So what’s in it for you? Well, other than getting the inside goss on all that’s happening in the Nomis development lab, becoming a Control Freak gives you VIP access to a whole load of great stuff.

Check it out:

A Brand New Website

Our old football website was just not cutting the mustard. The growth of the Nomis brand has been so phenominal that we felt we needed a new website to match.

The new website is live now, and it's packed full of information about Nomis and our products, plus great articles, athlete profiles, a store locator, product evaluation reports, customer reviews and more. The list just goes on and on!

So, take a few minutes to check out www.nomisfootball.com and remember to keep checking back regularly, as we're going to be regularly adding more hot content.

It says here:

After filling in the application form, you will simply need to log on to www.shopnomis.com and purchase a special duo of boots – one pair each of Blue Wave Spark FG and Black Gold Glove FG boots. Purchased together, these two pairs of boots will cost you a total of just $300 – that’s an enormous saving of $220 off the combined retail price. (We will supply you with a Control Freak discount code to use on the website when you make your purchase, once we receive your application.)

Is it possible to get that deal but different colours and/or one SG instead of FG?
A.N. Speed
I am sooo loving every bit of this!
<3

I wanna test and design boots! This is one of the best ideas I have heard in soccer yet!
penf.pat.15
yeah, i signed up... hoepfully i'll win with this one too biggrin.gif

wait, we need to buy two pairs? what happens if we already have two pairs though?
Pubes
so do you have to buy the 2 boots in order to do all the stuff?
A.N. Speed
You need to buy two pairs of boots to write reviews for them, but if you get two pairs then you get a mad discount. Or that's what I understand smile.gif
