how comfortable are the futspeeds? i know the upper probably kicks butt, but how's the cushioning on the bottom? plus i'd probably be cautious about wearing $180 shoes...
what a find dsmit! now i just gotta teach myself german..

I thought you said the studs on the Nomis turfs were getting a new design so they'd be longer. All it seems that you've done is cut the tongue off. It looks as if it has the problem that it will dig into my heel again because it curves inwards. Overall I'm really disappointed because I was looking to give Nomis TFs another try
That would be the German catalogue that I made! The Australian one has a lot more boots & options in.

The new turf model is the MT range. You'll notice a different sole, reduced heel and shortened tounge as the most obvious differences.

Is there any difference with the heel? Does it still curve inwards? I could learn to like the shorter studs as I was considering Nike Contacts which also have short studs but the heel was a real problem for me as it caused me severe pain.

I think its time to update the site a bit. Like a Harry Kewell overview under the "Nomis Athletes" tab, and it might be best to take off Wendell Sailor coz of the trouble he's caused

Just popping by to say hello and apologies for the lack of posts recently - just been totally flat out 7am to midnight for what feels like months!
I'm currently working on a major overhaul of the www.nomisfootball.com content to bring it all up to date - just so much stuff to go up it's not funny, so keep an eye on it over the next few weeks.

Just picked up these Nomis Glove Futspeeds. What an amazing pair of boots. There are definitely not enough kangaroo indoor boots these days. Once again Nomis has done a great job. Worth the wait and probably sold me on Nomis for the long haul.

Not sure if the marks will come off, but definitely just wet a towel and wipe down the boots. You do not want to use any cleaners. Most dirt and scuff marks will come of with just the wet towel. You may have to rub a little bit. This will also restore the grip of the boot.

Check out the review section. I have had two pair of nomis boots and I would say they rank right up there with the best from any manufacturer. The trick is finding the right size. They Glove and Spark seem to run a bit large - if you go back to previous pages in this post you will see this. The way Nomis treats the leather makes them last a very long time.

Hey I found this ebayer that has a lot of rare boots that I haven’t seen for awhile, you guys that are as boot crazy as me should take a look:
theres some old pred manics, pulses, umbro x boot 2's, mania's, some original f50's, and total 90 3's
Why are you posting that here? Completely the wrong thread, the boots for sale there aren't even hard to find.

Currently you cannot get them anywhere but from them directly in Australia. I believe they will be releasing them sometime this spring in the UK. When I ordered mine from the AUS site, they actually shipped them from a location in Germany. Might be worth checking out the AUS site at shopnomis.com.

What is the true sizing for the instincts. I wear a US size 9.5. I was wondering if i should order an 8 or an 8.5? some people say to get a size smaller, and others, a size and a half.

Hi, I havent posted for a while and pop back now and then to see whats happening. I was surfin' the web a couple of days ago 'as you do' and come across some good offers on Nomis boots, I was just wondering though what you all consider to be the best Nomis boot before I choose to buy them. [Selection is of the following, Black Pearl / Instinct / Nine Pincer / Spark] ...all views and opinions are very welcome.
Thanks Lee

Cheers guys, fanx for the replies.
I was thinking of getting the instinct because it was the most expensive and was reduced to 40 quid but what makes it so much more expensive [£140 rrp] than the others? Would you say the instinct is as good as the others...
...I love the look of the instincts more than the others but I always want function of athestics, so is the touch and control any different between the range???
Thanks Lee
Foxtrot
Mar 30 2008, 02:25 AM
it depends really with the touch and control... there are the wet control, dry control and dual control....so in a sense it depends on the climate that you play in...the Black pearls i have are wet control but its never really been wet enough to see if it makes a difference. The instincts are dual control, which is why they might be more expensive, and they would probably be could for most conditions so if you still have the chance then go for it i'd say, i have a friend in my old team who has them and he loves them.
Also, does anyone know if there is any particular way your meant to clean the boots considering of the special features of the leather?

You coudnt get there top boots for that price, gloves, spark , instincts. Boots seem to be cheaper in the US so you may be able to get spoilers, sonics or magnets which are like mid range boots but still pretty good i guess. http://www.nomisfootball.com/mens-footwear.html

Because I said from the beginning I intended to be impartial and feedback to be genuine etc etc and in giving boots to people may look like I was trying to buy the board! Sorry...
