i have the gunmetal pulses and they dont get very dirty. when they do get muddy from a bad field, i just wash them with cold water, and rub off the dirt with a paper towel or something. then let them dry in the sun

I got the Gunmetal pulses back in Feb. Very Nice. Did you order them off justsocca.com because I ordered the cinder/Maize vapors their due to arrive tomorrow morning. When cleaning my gunmetals I just use an old tooth brush to get into the smaller parts then a cloth to wipe them over and make them sparkle

Totally different boots, Pulse is the next line of Adidas Predators after the Manias.

Haha its a matter of preference but i disagree. Manias look way too simple and cheap.
Preds look classy.
Btw nice new gunmetel pulses. They look cool and shiny.
thorpeyy.

They arn't very shiny anymore. Wore em for Rugby last Night. Felt great but got a lil dirty. Gave em a clean and came to em this Morning, and they look clean, but the shinyness has gone.

Haha its natural that boots get dirty, unless you place them on the shelf or shoe rack and not use them,
which IMO is a huge waste of money. Unless the boot is super, duper, uber rare then i would consider against using them ...

Wore em in game today. Won 4-0. Had perfectly good goal dissallowed.
Erm, as for the Boots.
The Traxion is absoloubtly perfect. All my Teammates were slipping around. I was perfectly fine.
Couldn't really say much about the Swerve/Power Elements as they were covered in Mud!
Extremely Comfortable.
Just going to clean em now.
For now, 8/10. And for £40! Bargain.
EDIT: Just cleaned em, they too my amazement look new still. I was also amazed to see when i flipped over the boot, absoloubtly no mud on the bottom. They're is usually loads of Mud, and i have to bang em, but there was nothing. They looked new.

If you mean the actual feel of your foot and the boot around it then there's no difference. If you mean comfort for the sole of your foot then it depends on the surface. FGs work great for anything from hard pitches to slightly soft pitches, and anything wetter is when the SG boots are better. I wear the FGs a lot more but if you wear them when it's too wet and muddy the mud clogs up the studs. Which leads me onto...

Yeah, that's the great thing about the Adidas TRX SG boots. I've never had them clog up with mud so you always get great grip.

post some pics now.
I'm curious to see what they look like after they've been used.

Nov 6 2005, 02:31 PM
Will try to. Gimme 10 minutes.
Edit:

Bare in mind, these were caked in Mud 4 hours ago. You wouldn't have even known they were Preds.
It took me about 10 minutes simply using a Sponge and some warm water.
