What is good soccer ball for a beginner? I would like one that is easy to hit and fairly soft. I just got a t90 nike ball for 15 dollars and that was a mistake. Any comments are appreciated

it is a very decent ball and is very easy to juggle but im just starting and think that it might be better to have one that is very easy for me to hit because i have trouble hitting this one. The style is definitely my favorite of all the balls i have seen though

well if your going to stick with soccer. why not get a moderatly priced ball around 40 or 50 bucks. so that way if you loose it or a punk like me steals it you not out a whole lot.

im a fan of the adidas tourney

What is the difference between that ball (F50) and the cheaper version of the Finale?

I have trouble getting a nice shot off with it. I had an cheap adidas ball(15american) which was great for nice long balls. It also was very soft and easy to hit well but it popped. So then i got the t90 for 20american and it was very decent but i could not get a good shot off to save my life (which is probably my fault more than the soccerball). Despite that it is a very good ball for dribbling.

Haha, weird i dont have this problem when i played with the T90 ball. Maybe its somehow different like where it is made, different versions etc.
Perhaps you can try the Roteiro ball from adidas or the one which they use for Champs League, also by adidas. Quality balls, lol.
sportz4life10
get the adidas tango. It's only $40 and it's a great ball.

You won't feel bad if you mess it up on the street, or lose it.

Haha you have some low-self esteem.
But if you really suck i recommend that you can go to the Players & Coaching forum for help.
Basically a decent soccer player should hit any ball pretty well, even if they are made of thrash.(well children from poor countries like BRAZIL and ARGENTINA often contruct a ball out of thrash and play with it)
Soo practise and improve on the game. laugh.gif

Btw this is my 100th posts, i know it is nothing special compared to those who have thousands but still its a milestone for me. Hope another quality hundred posts would come for me. bigsmile.gif

I think Adidas Fevernova is good ball. Good ball and I think cheap ball. I don't know how much does it cost in Usa or UK (I think 40-60 $) but here in Poland I have seen it for 90 zł it is about hmm (1$ = 3.80 zł)... about 25 $ and i think it it good ball.
About Fevernova i mean official match ball biggrin.gif from Korea&Japan...

ok cya all wink.gif

some balls have a wicked touch and shouldn't be used by beginners because the pros can barely handle them, like the roteiro, i guess any 20 dollarish training ball would be good. Oh, and I started playing at about 16 (I turned 18 in august), I play so much that I'm already a lot better than people who have been playing all their lives, the key is persistence and learn from watching. thumbsup.gif

Get the EPL ball.
I have been using it for 2 months now and nothing happend to it
