Juventus v Bayern
v
FC Bayern München recorded their first victory against Juventus on 18 October with a 2-1 home win which lifted them clear at the top of Group A. With the long and prestigious history of both clubs in European football, it maybe comes as a surprise that the first meeting between the current champions of Italy and Germany only took place in last season's UEFA Champions League group stage, with the Bianconeri claiming victory in both matches.

I'm hoping Juventus take revenge. I dislike Bayern, but Juve are coming off their defeat by Milan, another top-class team. This one's on Juve's turf though, and with the home crowd, I think (and hope) 2-0 to the Bianconeri.

I really hope that the Old Lady win this one too cuz it is the club i support other than my beloved Man Utd.
However i dont really see this coming after having their ass wacked by AC Milan during the weekends.
Dont really think they would bounce back so quickly.
They wont wanna disappoint their home fans by losing so a draw is highly possible.
0-0 or 1-1 ??

i expect a draw. i think if Juventus does not win then they are most likely second at the end of the group stages. maybe they will fight back and win but i think Bayern will make a draw there.

Game over Juve 2 - 1 Bayern! Juve really needed this win. We are a bit banged up at the moment and playing against one of the best teams around was always going to be difficult. Trez played great 5 shots 2 goals, it can't get much better than that. Vieira needs rest cause it is apparent that he is not at full fitness yet. Too bad for Ibra, getting a red at the end of the game so now he will miss the next CL game.

Great win for Juve, was hoping they'd pull it out. Aha! Actually I'm sort of glad Zlatan got a red card. Now Capello will have to start Del Piero, and hopefully he'll get results and finally see the light.

well, poor game and a bad result but its not too bad because the group winner could face Chelsea next round. overall disappointing by Bayern but enough to make our way through to the knock out stages.
congrats to Juventus.

yeah, i think both teams will finsh the group with 15 points. then the goal difference would be deciding, i think Juve is better there imo, but just know what the first or second place was worth when we know the matches of the round of the last season.
for example, the team who makes place 1 could face Chelsea, while the 2nd place team could face Arsenal which should be more in Juve or Bayerns favor.
