I have a pair of the nike vapor kangaroo leather
i washed them several times in the washin machine over the past year and now the lather is all hard which i think is due to dryin the in the sun

does anyone ahve any ideas to help me soften the leather up again

Exactly, leather food wil soften it up, however a good rinse in the water would do them good before you buff them up in leather food. Never sundry or heater dry, always naturally or fan dry.

Not putting them in the washing machine would be a start.

Only saturate synthetic. Wetting most leather messes it up.
