Hey guys, just today my team had a advert with Adidas. I know this sounds like bull-shit but its true. Its apparently going to be in the Adidas Shop in Sydney, Australia.

We got free stuff, Our whole team got Adidas Shirt, Pants and Socks. We also got the Dragon Pulses to keep. Our main player also got to wear Absolutes. And I tried on the SG ones as well. Wonderful boot. And thats coming from a Copa lover. The leather is surprisingly soft, and the power pulse thing does look nice. Its like a weight atached to the end of the sole. Also about the dragon pulses, rubbish boot, the Absolutes feel much nicer. And look good too!!!

Pretty nice aye, notice the pulses in the backround as well, and my beautiful foot which slid into the caressing skin of the absolutes.

Well its pretty unfair that only your main player got the absolutes, but stil the free stuff are nice ...

Oh nah nah, the main player DID NOT get them either. We werent allowed cause they are supposed to be realeased soon right. But I got some free stuff, got my hair done, got my makeup done, got free food, so its not too shabby. Except acting sucks, theres alot of waiting around. I didnt even do much!

Nope! The pulses were all leather, none were samples. But REALLY REALLY CRAP LEATHER just so they can keep their blingyness, stupid adidas...

ya actually that is pretty cool, and we all know how u love ur copas, so coming from u, the absolutes must be really promising.

Eh I am going to contact Adidas . That is really awesome and congrats. But I think that those shoes look ugly, the absolutes are a bit over-rated and too flashy looking. 7406 are the best new boot.

Is that advert gonna also appear in melbourne soon? Cause i've got a job at adidas performance store starting later this year and i'm hoping to get a sneak peak at their gear and at your ad. When they unpack all the merchandise and get the store up and running i should have a look and see the absolutes for myself.

Anywayz seriously are the preds as soft as copas? If so i just might purchase a pair and see how they feel NOT. Old school boots all the way peoplez (Tempted to buy the 7406 though)

Yeh, its like adidas left any sort of class at home and designed them in 80's futuristic style. Where are the clean lines and smooth design that made the manias and pulses look so cool? And also coming from a nike dude, that is high praise.

Haha fuck that. Im still going to stick with my copas tho guys. But in NZ, when its summer, and we're training on our CRAP sand based full beach-with-no-water pitches, ill whip out the chrome pretty boy boots and rip them up.

And about the ad, its in Sydney I think, apparently its going to be a projection on the wall. I dont know much either so blah.

Oh, and absolutes felt nice. The leather was noice and soft, even though it was coloured. The strap will most likely break straight away, as it is mighty thin. But the toungue, oh the toungue, reminds me of manias. VERY soft and felt goooood. And it can be brought down like Mr Beckham as well.

Sweet story, Our the Absolutes only coming out with the bladed soft ground or can the be changed to hybrid studs cos i refuse to play in Blades and went on a Nike spending spree recently.

As some may have seen in the Nike and My boots thread.

If Absolutes have a Stud based sole plate i may consider getting them.

You lucky Bastard Ken! What type of advert was it? You know, like the nike Ole ads? Was there any payment apart from merchandise? Man im getting jealous here, good on ya though.

Um the leather on the dragons toungue kinda seems rough and hard, well compared to my manias neways (thanks Joon, they're great!)

Also, when I saw the studs on the Absolutes, they were in blades, and so were the Fg ones. But the 7406s come in stud/blade thingys so you could probably replace them with those.

And the ads were just tricks. Ive seen people in the video forum do equal or better tricks then my team had to do! But the ad was with using lots of people doing tricks, so its a bit harder.

And Joon, no payment, just stuff. But im not argueing, rather get free stuff then study!

Did it look to you that the Absolutes will be for narrow feet. If not what type of foot would it be best suited for?

Well i wore them, and i fit size 9us vap and the preds gave me more, whats the word, breathing space. But I belive the are for just average feet. They felt good on my feet. But i dont belive that you wont be able to fit in these boots no matter what kind of feet you have. The leather seemed extreamly soft, but seems to be treated heaps, but it still should stretch.

Yeah cuz they stretch a ton and mould to your foot almost perfectly.
But I heard that there are danger of it losing its shape.
But nothing happened to my Copas yet.

So ur saying I could buy the Absolutes and use the studs from Soft Ground 7406s? Our they the Hybrid studs cos i dnt realy class them as studs still blades imo, and Blades damge ur own Knees and Ankles just as much as a bad tackle from a pair.

One more question for you Ken,

How would you compare the fit of the +Absolute to the Pulse, becuase I'm going to purchase some +Absolutes and need to know the fit of them in order to know the right size.
