Well I heard a rumour that the new Nike Vapour III will be released in a bright pink colourway, anybody else know about this?

what are your sources for this rumour? i havn't heard anything about it...

it's bollocks mate, this rumour could be a result of a lot of people thinking the new red vap IIs were pink.. chinese whispers and all that could lead to talk bout vap III!

r u sure you heard correctly. coming out with pink vapors would probably be a sabbotage for nike and the whole vapor series. i don't think nike would really want to do that until they r sure it will sell. it would ruin the image in the us . people would be like "o soccer players are fags because they have pink boots.

Yeah, besides Nike wouldn't make any money by selling pink vapors. If I had that kinda money, I would rather spend it on a pair of F50+ Airforce blues

Good point, might turn out 2 be like the hummel squadra, however it's a rumour and i dont think that nike will bother 2 put them into production even for women.

well nike has always had a womens vapor...remeber there were the chrome ones and also a pair that were white and red awhile back...

well first of all i would say this... c'mon guys its nike were talking about. for goodness sakes they have ALL GOLD shoes. haha i like em, but many would have never belived it. now im not backing up this thing about pink vapors, i really question the credebility, but if it just so happens that its true, i wouldn't be surprised.

LOL, I wouldn't be suprised if Nike really release pink vapors cuz they already other wacky ones like chilli red, blaze orange, even all gold vapors.
I guess they would only be for women though cuz they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they released them for men. (Hmm, imagine the Nike endorsees wearing pink vapors, Ronaldo ??)
In terms of women soccer, i think Nike has 'won' adidas in the battle.
For almost all the male boot version, there will almost always be a women one.

Im not a girl. But most girls I know, even though they do like pink, it doesnt not nesseraily (sp) mean that they want to wear it. Just cause pink and baby blue are seen as feminem colours, it does not mean that women actually want to wear that colour.

If i was a girl, I wouldnt want to be generailised into only wearing my pink boots. I would just want to be like anyother person and wear, less 'pansy' colours.

C-Ron would, the pansy. Seriously, its not like pink is a purely feminine colour anymore. Have you seen the amount of pink shirts you can buy now? I love pink as a colour but actually wearing pink boots is a whole other step. I almost sprayed my white outs pink as a joke but then chickened out.

Buby blue is cool though. I would buy/wear baby blue boots. Matter of fact you can get them on nikeid (and they look awesome!).

Got these pics from a friend whose pals dad works for Nike. Seems like it is true I know quite a lot of guys wear pink now, but this just takes the biscuit!

when you photoshop a pic next time, try making the color range a little bigger. You can see that in the middle (by the swoosh) there is some of the original color, and change the stud color.

Oh and when you try and lie about a pic, make sure it's done right.

Yeah, don't leave the common ebay pic logo in the bottom right corner either.

haha... pink vapor iii's ... why the fcuk wouldnt THAT suprise me...anyway, are u sure ur not thinking of my wonderful designs, or some sort of other photoshop effort... anyhoo heres the one i made earlier (dont comment on how awful they are {ive already been told } they were just a quicky photoshop effort)...

Aww booo! Just having some fun people, you should have left it a while so more people would think that they were real! Once again, booo! (at least I now know what to do to improve my conning next time ) I don't photoshop things that often (twice a year maybe!) and it only took me about 3 seconds (as you can tell!)

And the studs are the same colour as the rest of the boot, just like they are on the r9s

I thought at the time it would be a marketing nightmare. But it's one of thse things that's so bizzare people would probably buy them just for their shock factor.
Anyway I heard it from someone who had been looking through so new Nike gear (he works in a sports department) perhaps he just saw a pair of red ones and they looked faded Im not sure. I am as eager as everyone hear to find out if its true.

Oh and as a sub note a guy at my club reckons Nike should sell a set like that new Arsenal shirt. He reckons a pair of vapours one boot white the other black would be cool, and fit in with that 'kick racism out of football' campaign. What do you people think?

Yes I would think so but it would be a huge risk for Nike to take, so perhaps they wouldn't do that.
But then we wont know right ?? Anything is possible with the big companies ...


On the black and white vapors which fit in the 'kick racism out of football', i guess that would be good as its for a good cause. But i reckon that Nike are going to sell them at a higher price and earn more profits.
Just my guess though, cuz it might not be the case.
