total 90 II's are probally my favorite boots I have ever had. And i have had a lot of boots. Great touch, feel, comfortable. I loved them, would get them again if i could find them in my size. Strongly recommend them

I've had the Air Zoom total 90's before on SG. They're great, good touch on the ball, and since it was synthtic, it means that boots are waterproof, perfect for soft muddy pitches. One problem i did get was that it tended to be a bit too wide, my feet shifted from side to side as i was running. Also that first touch coating is Bull shite, its just like a plastic varnish thingy. However, the air zoom is great, nice padding all around. Also they are quite light, i even weighed em, came up like 230g each or sumthing. All in all, recommended, they are great boots, although it can be better in some areas. Also since it its synthetic, its very low maintanence, the dirt etc just peels right off. Hope it helps.

ive never had em but have only heard good things about them while ive been here

eh.

I had the white/blue pair. the toebox was a little to wide for my feet.

At the end of the season, they felt GREAT.

bigsmile.gif Yes, I would strongly recommend getting them.

I loved them but they were a little too wide for my feet.

If you have wide feet i would get them if you can find them in your size.

smile.gif They were much better than my the AZT 90 3's.

That is why I'm looking for a pair of the original AZT's. They looked so nice and we supposedly the best.

rofl.gif u see some funny things here sometimes. ya the 2's are one of the best nike botos period. WAY better than the 3's, and yes they are for wide feet. that doesn't make them bad, it just makes them for people who can't fit their foot into a vapor or f50 per say. thats the point of the 90 line, for wider feet. anyways i like the first touch coating... however i thought the zoom air was crap HAHA i mean i really don't understand what purpose it serves in THIS boot. they put em on the outsole, that can't really do anything. im not bagging ont eh boot, they are one of the best and anyone should buy them if they want to get something good, but i don't see how the "zoom air" in this boot did anything. i mean if u take out the sockliner, and feel the bottom of the boot, theres no cushion whatsoever... don't ask me what those lil things on the bottom of the boot do cuz i really don't know. howeer, since these boots are soo perfect they must do SOMETHING, i just couldn't figure out what it was. haha. great shoes. good kick, nice stud config, pretty light, comfortable...blisters don't exist..., and the best part is low maintenece.
also theres an added bonus, if u just can't live without k leather, theres a k leather versiojn of the boot too!
Timho
i have got them and like them very much.
but vapors fit my feet better

The real zoom things are inside, under the sockliner. When they are old and mostly stuffed the sockliner wears down and you can feel the zoom pads cause they still ahve their shape. thumbsup.gif

so those are the original azt... my friend has a pair that are still in very good condition. i thought it was quite strange because i'd never seen them before, even though i've played with him for 4 years

ok thats what i first figured, but when i took out the sockliner, all that was there was the flat bottom of the boot. nothing else. and i don't have the cheap version i definatley have the air zoom total 90 2. i was wondering about this, but i checked my friends and his were the same. so personally i think my boot are missing its air zoom period. lol. wow i never thought id be stumped by a boot but it looks like this time i am, and its MY boot too! lol

I definitley think the total 90 II's are one of the best boots nike has made along with the legends. I ended up buying another pair after my first ones were beat. I'm actually trying to buy another pair right now. If you can find a pair, I say get them. thumbsup.gif

I would like to get my hands on some, I was waiting for the blue/white ones but then I tried and on manias and loved them. The gun metal manias are the nicest looking boot still.

Does anyone actually know whether the first touch coating works? I reckon its just a gimmick, slap on a bit of plastic here, and call it "first touch coating". Personally i don't see how it could work, i had em, i was honestly fooled. I was expecting sumthing stick but it was just plain.
Romeo371M
it really is just a gimmick, it doesn't do much at all. but the reason i say i like it is because im sure its better with the coating, then with our it. bnecuse after all the boots are synthetic, and lots of times syn boots have less grip. so it prob helps like .098 % haha but tahts better than nothing.
