I have legends and 2 of my friends have f50s. I think the legends are better because both pairs of f50s have already ripped. Which do you think is better? (does anyone know how I put a poll in this?)
Akai Harrison
yeah when you go to make a new topic, it says poll options. anyways, my f50s were really comfy, they just tore cuz i had em since may. i think it would be the same with any pair of shoes, you have em for several months and they tear. as for brads f50+, hes had em since august and they ripped. IMO, F50+ is cheaper quality.

p.s. soooo many topics on this, and polls, too. try searching for results.

Its the Legends hands down thumbsup.gif

Not cos Ronaldinho wears them but because i wear them. biggrin.gif

The Greatest youth player to grace the Harrow Sunday League. laugh.gif

i think this will be a pretty biased poll, because not many people have both pairs and can compare them to each other. i mean i have f50s and i got them when the black/punjab color first came out. mine havent ripped. so i think it wont really tell you which cleat is better.

and most ppl say that the cleats they have are te best.

i definately say legends. to begin they are k leahter which is nice. f 50 + are lighter, but they aren't light enough to make a difference. also ya i've heard lots of complints about the durability of the f50, and i've seen those rip and split and seperate at will. the only things about the legends that can really get damaged is the upper if u play in like water lol but thats pretty much the only way to mess them up. i'd say legends have looked to be better overall, but f50+ are still gr8 boots. o y and last but NOT least, legends are a good deal cheaper than than f50+

Well, i suppose i can make a fair judgement based on my opinion.
Ive got both pairs, F50+'s in punjab and Air Legends in White/red.

Firstly the Adidas F50+'s. These look nice, although a little too much detail. The leather on em is quite soft, although it feels a bit thin in some areas. The toe area does look very weak, seems like it might give way soon. Cleaning is a bitch, the fabric does become 'ruffled' if using a hard brush. Anyway, initially the boots are very, very snug, my feet were aching after 5 minutes. So i considered selling them, as i thought they were the absolute worst piece of Sh*t boots i had ever encountered. But i didn't, after several days of wearing em in, they felt fantastic!. The boots are perfect, very comfortable, although the heel area seem a bit "short". All in all, these boots are great, very little water absorption, nice touches everywhere, although you do begin to doubt the craftmanship of these, and as a result i tended to shy away from tackles.

The Air Legends. Looks stunning, nice classical approach, great to see from nike. Soft K-leather all around the boot, feels stunning to touch, even better on your feet. The boots feel deceptively heavy, but on your feet they feel pretty light, only a minor difference compared to the F50+'s. Once on my feet, it had a straight-from-the-box fit, which is similar to the pulses, no wearing in required. The touch on the ball again is great, although i again felt that the leather on the toe area was a bit thin. One thing i did not like though, was the fact that these boots are a bit wide on the ankle area. When running/turning etc, there is a gap between your ankles and your boots, so it does feel as if they will slip off. The white does not lose colour as easily as i thought, seems to be a bit more durable this time round. Easy to clean.

Overall, i like my F50+'s better, it offers a nice snug fit, which i like so much, although the crafting leaves alot to be desired. All in all though, i believe you can't go wrong with either boots, they are top-of-the-market boots, so which ever one you choose, it should serve you well.

Well i can tell u my legends r the perfect fit around my ankles nice and snug, Ther a very good boot but i have got pretty wide feet so thats y the ankle mite be better on me altho i dont have wide ankles sofunny.gif

If there a little big on the ankle wear ankle gaurds and/or black socks underneath them.

Legends = Excellent Fit, Feal, Touch and look aswell. and to protect from water and to make cleaning alot easier use Kiwi Sports Leather Dubin. Excellent stuff the water just runs off as it waterproofs the leather.

So basicaly what im saying is the bad points u have with ur legends which is hardly anything, i dont have with mine it depends on the wearer. smile.gif

u sed you used dubbin, have you got white legends? i was scared of using dubbin on mine as i thort the stitching or the leather itself mite start to turn the yellowish colour that dubbin usually has.
And if it doesnt discolour the white, then where can i get this make of dubbin from? lol cheers

Oh and im really really impressed with my legends. I had preds for the last few seasons, but the legends win hands down! I cant complare them to the f50s, but i cant see the legends being beaten!
andysaround
yer, ive got f50+s limited edition and the black and white air legends and the air legends are boots that i would say don't really specialise in anything but they ar e quite good at everyting. where as he f50+ are good 4 dribbling and shooting but are harder to get the ball in the air with smile.gif

If you look above, you'll see that what i wrote was based on my personal experience, im not saying that the problem will exist for everyone.

I have the Black/White Legends it does not discoulour anything if u use the neautral 1. As its a clear gel thing, looks yellowish as u get it out of the tube but it wont discolour it protects the coulour. smile.gif

My white Nike tick looks as white as ever and stays even cleaner now i use dubbing as it makes washing them easier.

I use 'Kiwi Select' Sport Dubbin ALL COLOURS

Info: For smooth Leather, Waxed Leather and waxed Nubuck Shoes, waterproofs, protects, nourishes and conditions.

Any Good Shoe Store should have it, i got mine in Barrats. Just ask if they dont have it on show as they got mine out from stock because i enquierd about it. smile.gif
