Swiss Tennis player Roger Federer won the Toronto Masters Series by beating ex holder of the trophy Andy Roddick! The world Number 1 beat the world number 2 in straight sets 7-5 6-3 to lift the Toronto Masters throphy it is Federer's 23 straight victories in a row and looks to try and beat the 24 of Pete Sampras in '99'.
Roddick spoke after the defeat he joked:
' I'd like to congratulate Roger but he's starting to get very, very annoying'.
So Roger Federer sees yet another win in the bag but could it all fall on top of him.
We'll wait and see in the next tournament the U.S Open who comes on top. Roddick is the current U.S Open champion.
The 92nd Fish
Watch out for Henman in the upcoming US Open, he was the only player to beat Roddick on the US hard court season last year, although he hasn't played well yet, he has only played one tournament and has the Olympics for pratice. Remember when he won the Paris Masters last year he beat both Roddick and Federer on the way. But Federer looks invinicible this season, only in the French Open did he look bad.
