Nov 13 2005, 06:25 PM
Any cause of death yet? This is very simialr to the death of Brian Pillman if I remember rightly. He was also found dead in his hotel room, they found out after wards that he had died of a heart attack. The heart attack was brought on by a supplement he was taking to strip the fat off his body, it speeds up the heart but puts a tremendous strain on it. I hope this isnt another case the same.
Anway, RIP.

I don't think it would be too wild of an allegation to say it was drugs related. If you compare The wrestler of now to 5 years ago and he's almost twice the size.
Anyway he brought alot of people joy, RIP

True about that, but i thought that WWE banned the 'roids' after Vince was taken to court over it, but that could be me, but then again it could be the result of ephedrine which causes your heart rate to go insanely high.
Now, to lighten the mood a little which was your favourite Eddie moment?

"On the day of his death, he was set to face Batista and Randy Orton for the World Heavyweight Championship on November 13 taping of Friday Night SmackDown! to air on November 18. It was highly speculated that he was to win the title that night and hence walk out World Heavyweight Champion for the 2nd time (his first major title reign was in February 2004)."

Just watched Monday Raw, what a powerful show so many tributes to Eddie, Imo the best bit was at the end when Cena placed the Eddie t-shirt he was wearing in the middle of the ring and then took his blet and placed it on the t-shirt and then the camera slowly faded away.

This is one of the biggest blows for WWE in history. People say he overdosed, some poeple say he had a heart attack. We will know in a week or less, an autopsy is going to be done. This is such a loss and he will be missed by many.
I'm not really a Smackdown fan but I can say his matches were really entertaining and he was a great wrestler, always stole the show and put it all on the line.
He was going through a tough time in the last couple of years, getting off his addiction of precription drugs and on Tuesday he was going to be 4 years clean. I can't imagine what his family is going through. What a warrior we have lost..
R.I.P Eddie Guerrero. you will be remembered, and thanks for the memories.

i watched the start of raw just to see the tributes, HHH, The Big Show and several others were crying, when you make a 7 foot 500 pound man cry, you know he must of been loved in the dressing room.
Marco.
Nov 15 2005, 11:16 AM
yeah i just watched it on the web... some clips... and damn, you make everybody cry? kane, HHH, show... you know how you touched their lives.
Eddie knew how he lived, eddie lived his "-" dash to the fullest... from 1967-2005... that short line signified how he lived, he fought his inner demons... a great inspiration, a great entertainer, and mustve been a great guy...

one for Eddie... Rest in piece.
WWE will never be the same.

Vickie Guerrero speaks on Eddie's autopsy report
Nov. 15, 2005After the untimely passing of Eddie Guerrero, WWE and the entire sports-entertainment community is still reeling from the devastating loss of a champion. The initial autopsy reports on Guerrero have come in. WWE.com spoke with Eddie’s widow, Vickie Guerrero, earlier today.
“It was heart failure. It was from his past – the drinking and the drug abuse. They found signs of heart disease. She (the examiner) said that the blood vessels were very worn and narrow, and that just showed all the abuse from the scheduling of work and his past. And Eddie just worked out like crazy all the time. It made his heart grow bigger and work harder and the vessels were getting smaller, and that’s what caused the heart failure. He went into a deep sleep.
As soon as they saw his heart, they saw the lining of his heart already had the heart disease. There was no trauma, and Eddie hadn’t hurt himself in any way. It answered a lot of questions. I knew Eddie wasn’t feeling very good for the last week. He was home and kept saying he wasn’t feeling good and we thought it was just “road tired.” So we thought he just had to rest. It answered a lot of my questions, too, because he was just so exhausted. She said it was normal because the heart was working so hard.
When he didn’t call me last night and the night before I knew it was for real, because he would call me every night. I miss his phone calls. I cried through the whole thing (last night).
I loved his laugh. His laugh was the best.
We just celebrated his four-year sobriety last Thursday. We just thought we had life by the handful. We thought we had it all figured out. He worked so hard to make a better life for us.
I’m just overwhelmed by how people are coming out. It’s touched my heart a lot.
Everybody was just in awe last night in how beautifully everything was put together.
All my life was wrestling. All he did was take care of them and live for that. And I don’t know what to do now.”

I haven't followed wrestling for about 3 to 4 years now. Eddie was an awesome entertainer. I enjoyed watching him right through from the WCW days. He really did bulk up in the end, looked way bigger than I remembered him. Obviously he was pushing his body to overload in various ways. Just another wrestler gone way before his time. RIP.
