wondering if the a3's are suitable for indoor?

Yes, they are great for indoors. I have used F50+ a3 and Pulse a3 indoors.

I have F50+ a3's and they are great on turf, no slipping problems there. However a little slippery on gym floors.

I've got the white/gold Absolute a3's, and so far, they're great on all the surfaces that I have played on. I have trained on firm ground, and they gave me much more grip than I expected. I have played on turf, and I have had no slipping problems at all, as the tiny blades on the sole of my Absolute a3's definetely grip the turf. And I have played on hardwood, indoor, and while they're not as good as boots made for indoor like Adidas Samba's, I still haven't had any major problems with them.
I would recommend any of the a3's (7406, Absolutes, Tunits.....) to anyone looking to play on firm-to-hard ground, turf, and indoors. a3's are great boots.
