Minnesota at Green Bay-Green Bay

Good thing to know about this week: The Chargers play the Bills, the Bills have the 31st rankes rushing defense in the league, LT has had two weeks of rest. Yeah thats gonna be good. The monday night game isnt really appealing but these two teams always bring a good show and Brett Favre is Brett Favre.

Question of the week: The Eagles are done for this season, but are they done for Next season too?

Indianapolis at Cincinnati -Cincinnatti
Kansas City at Houston -Chiefs

Minnesota at Green Bay-Green Bay

well i don't think that Eagles are done for next season. They have desent WR still in the team. The teams success all depends on McNabbs health. Look what happened when eagles lost T.O. during the playoff, they still manged to make it to the SB. I think the bigger question is what are the eagles going to do with T.O. now that his allowed to play? Not many teams have the salary cap or the patients to deal with T.O.

Kid a you're crazy, the Jets have thrown 5 TDs... LaDainian has thrown 3, I rest my case.

MON, NOV 21
Minnesota at Green Bay -Green Bay

The Eagles should be able to cope next season without T.O. they've played fine without him before. Like sinaloa4life said as long as McNabb is healthy they'll be fine. Westbrook is good and LJ Smith looks like he knows how to catch the ball, I think theyll be an ok team. Having said this though, I don't know if they'll make the playoffs because the Giants and Redskins are only going to get better if you ask me.

Oh trust me I know, and I dont like the Jets because they beat us last year in the playoffs (even though I kinda pity them this years because they have so many injuries) but I just NEED the Broncos to lose, I also NEED!!! the Chiefs to lose so thats why I'm going with Houston (c'mon Houston!).

As for the Eagles hmm...well they lost T.O last years with the playoff home field advantage pretty much guaranteed, this year they lost him halfway thru the season and when you add in the facts that last year there really werent any good teams in the NFC and this years McNabb is hurt then it just makes for a lost season this year (sit McNabb, let him rest) and possibly a lost season next year unless they get a good player in the T.O trade.

edit: and that sig is hilarious big red biggrin.gif

colts bold bet of the year is Cincinati over the colts,
because of home support and i think its time, it just feels like its time for the colts to lose a game, plus i think chad johnson will blow them away.

Kansas City at Houston
KC easily

MON, NOV 21

Minnesota at Green Bay
Minnesota
(big game against rivals and with johnson, why not)

hell yeah, they can kiss there franchise good bye, i say it will take em another 5 years to get to the superbowl, and the quakers will blame it on TO of course, and not Reid or McNabb like they should
kid_a
Wow that really is a bold prediction! The Chargers are 10 points favourites this week, and I hate numbers I'd rather be the underdogs. But again, best running back v worse rushing defense. Oh and the Chargers will be retiring Lance Alworth's number 19 during halftime. They'll also be wearing the powder blues! too bad we havent had much luck with the powder blues but its always a treat to see them.
charon
yeah i know, its just a feeling i have, i think that buffalo may just do it, but i also felt this way when the jets almost did it,

thats not really a bold prediction. Its possible for the bengals to beat the colts. THe bengals has a good defense and offense. I think they are the team to break the colts unbeaten record.
Joshinho
Philly done for the season? I don't think so...I think they could make the playoffs anyway. Next year...they could be contenders if they make a couple of key moves.

Vikes versus Fudge packers....I think the Packers will take this. We're rarely good out side and even worse on natural turf and worse yet when it's cold.....We're a dome team afterall. Though, again, while I don't wish an injury on anyone, I am glad that Johnson has finally gotten a chance. The fact of the matter is, as far as QB'ing from the pocket, I rate Johnson as much better.....the only benefit Dante has is rushing ability but he rarely uses that so it's a non factor.

HOwever, the green and yellow will be motivated to get revenge in "Toilet Bowl, The Sequel - Battle to be the Turd that Won't Go Down."
Nando.
Kid, I am sorry to say this but the Chargers should stop wearing the Powder Blue uniforms. Are they the best uniforms in the history of American Sports? YES! However, they cursed that uniform by using it to try and change their fortunes when the Chargers were one of the worst teams in the NFL. The uniform got pissed at the Chargers, as that team was not worthy of such a glorious fabric. Now, the Powder Blues will forever be cursed....

Pittsburgh at Baltimore -Baltimore
Tampa Bay at Atlanta -Tampa Bay
Carolina at Chicago -Chicago
Minnesota at Green Bay -Green Bay

I'd say that the Padres '84 duds were a lot cooler

IPB Image

these and the brown-orange unis that we wore in the late 80's early 90's. But the Powder blues are definitely the coolest uniforms of all time, and the truth is I've seen them win only one time when they wear them. And we already lost this year to the Steelers with them, but they should still wear them just because they're so damn cool. Even Snoop things they're cool.

Well he used to change it every three days or so before but he never told us about this one. Then today I clicked on his name to see when the last time that he was online was and it turns out he's Monster Manc. And I thought Monster Manc was just a groupie, but its Joel and that makes it all good biggrin.gif
Gallo Caliente
its all good, Kid a. The way i found out that joel was monster manc was when i went to read my inbox. When i saw that the email that joel send me was not there, but there was an email from monster manc. But i did not know who the heck monster manc was or even remember reading a email from him. So i opened it and it was joels email. So yea i was confused too smile.gif , dam joel next time say something. smile.gif
well lets get back to football. I need u guys opinion on something. I have a Football Fantasy team. And i need a RB for this weeks game. Im thinking about getting Samkon Gado from the packers (who is the starting RB and is desent) or take a risk with Jamel Lewis (which is not having a great season)? Thanks in advance.

Id go with Gado, hes been good lately for the Pack with Green injured. He scored a couple TDs last week, and Minnesota's rush defense is just a little bit better than shit. Lewis on the other hand has been crappy and Baltimore is playing Pittsburgh who have a solid defense against the run, top five in the league I think at least?
Gallo Caliente
yea i was think about getting him, but the packer have good game or sometimes bad games. Plus the vikings defense has be improving a lot. Thanks man, i just hope his still in the free agent list.
Joshinho
I believe the Vikings game is on Monday night...yet another strike against the Vikes.

1) We tend to do poorly out doors.
2) We tend to do even worse on natural turf
3) We tend to do even worse yet in the cold on natural turf.
4) We tend to do poorly on Monday Nights.

---> I see GB as the favorites in the "Toilet Bowl, The Sequel -- The Turd that Wouldn't Go Down."

For a second there I thought you were talking about Bush's second term in office. I thought the NFL didnt do Night Games in Green Bay because it doesnt have the facilities and the stadium is kinda old and blah blah blah.

Yuppers. Monday Night it is.

Minnesota at Green Bay 9:00 PM ABC Tickets Lambeau Field

Two of the shittiest teams in the NFL. Don't miss it.
kid_a
Apparently some of T.O's (former) teammates want him back, they say they love him and shit. I say the Eagles organization should do a complete revamp of that organization, fire the guys who want T.O back, get rid of McNabb, trade T.O to the Chargers for Phillip Rivers and hope to god that they can take Reggie Bush in the Draft. McNabb can sit out next season, as it appears he might sit down the remainder of this season due to surgery so he might as well take next season too. T.O would play a couple of games with the Chargers, he'd score a couple touchdowns and then get into a physical fight with Marty Schottenheimer and then would be promptly fired (Marty not T.O). Now thats a prediction.
Joel.
laugh.gif Sorry Kid a I thought you knew that I was Joel. Well I've got just less than 90 days until my next name change, I'm thinking of going with TO laugh.gif, what do you think? Oh yea I'll be sure to let you know then thumbsup.gif

By the way, what time are the Chargers on in GMT anyone know? I'll have to record it and watch it tommorow.

Well I dont know if I want to ruin it for you but with about ten minutes to go in the fourth quarter we're up about 40-10. Antonio Gates (charger of the week) is having a monster game (from what i've heard, I've been at work and havent been watching it) but I know hes scored at least one. Looks like the "upset of the season" wont happen.
kid_a
woo hoo! its a final!

San Diego 48
Buffalo 10

Losman went down on the ball more times than a midget hookers (doesnt make sense i know, but still funny) this game was never close, the Chargers have the best rushing defense in the league and a damn good defense in general. I'm not even going to comment on the offense because when you have Brees, LT and Gates it kinda speaks for itself. These guys are insanely good and I dont see why we should lose another game this season, bring on the fuckin Colts! Hell bring on the fuckin Colts undefeated, they havent played a team like us this year. Now heres hoping that the Texans can beat the Chiefs to get them out of the way and lets also hope that the Jaguars dont win again.

Was there ever any doubts? Obviously they were going to pummel Buffalo. San Diego was sweet, McCardell and Gates killed their secondary and they held McGahee had 39 yards.

Massacre today, but all the teams in the division won (which is a good thing, AFL domination) even the Raiders won! the Broncos were impressive and the Chiefs I didnt see much of but they were playing the Texans so thats that.

Heres your weekly Chargers pic courtesy of the nice people at ESPN:

Shawne Merriman (who is fuckin scary) sacking JP Losman, he did this like three times today. Great game, this guy keeps on being my favourite Charger.
Scousy
powder blue. You know it
kid_a
Oh and as I mentioned before The Chargers retired Lance Alworth's number 19 today. Thats why they wore the Powder Blues. Alworth was the first AFL player inducted into the football hall of fame and arguably the best wide receiver of the 60's/70's.

But you might remember him from when he used to hang out with Pharrell:

well the raiders won, bigsmile.gif . Could not believe Redskins defense, they stoped two 2 yards drives that the raiders had. Porter had a good night, some very great catches, IMO. There were so many fights in this game, specially redskins #45 and raiders #50, forgot their names. One question thougth, did the bengal player actually asked the cheerleader marry him, or was that just a joke?

i cant believe this week, it has been a terrible week, most of my predictions where wrong, but to make this week even worse,

"THE STEELERS LOST"

but all is not that bad, the eagles lost, "Yeppy" bigsmile.gif, and the falcons also lost, so it was not all that bad,

so is there a scoring system or something, is someone keeping points,
Big-Red
Green Bay lost tonight, another choke job against the Vikings, what bums. How the hell are the Bears the best team in the NFC North, I bet Ditka has something to do with it.
charon
oh yeah, that was pretty good, i reackon there the best blockers in the game, did you see those blocks on the int return, players blocking blody well, 8 sacks, man, could this team be better then the 85 bears, well defence wise anyway,

i just saw the last 30 secs, that field goal, of the GB game, what a disapointment, to see farve lose another game.

dose anyone else here think that david carr is a good QB, i think he is ok, he reminds me a bit of the young jake plummer, without the running of course, crappy OL, crappy team, you guys watch, when he leaves the texans, which i hope is soon, will be talking about him more, same as joey harrington, why would maruicu bring in, i cant remember his name, but they played together at the 9ners, garcia thats it, what a waste of talent i say, leaving joey second string.

Well so far Joey Harrington and Dave Carr have been incredibly dissapointing. Both of them, its true that they have suckass teams, especially Carr, but if they were any good it would have shown already. I was always big on Harrington but hes not gonna get anywhere in Detroit anymore so he has to hope for either a desperate team or a move to another team with and established QB and then have that QB get injured (and probably the backup get injured too) or else hes done.

As for keeping tabs on your scores, I dont know if you want to do it go ahead. I think I might have gotten a 4 for 4 this week but I'm not sure. Anyways heres Week 11's scores.

NY Giants 27, Philadelphia 17
Arizona 38, St. Louis 28
New England 24, New Orleans 17

He's alright, I don't think he'll be in Houston much longer though. My call: Houston finishes last of course, and drafts Matt Leinart or Vince Young number 1. Carr gets traded to either the Jets or Washington.
