Great news for this game is that Edson is back and Deivid got a call up as well. I think Sporting should walk away victorious from this one. Tonel is back in the lineup but Bto is out. Miguel Garcia i beilieve from wehat I've read is going ot be playing in Beto position even htough i think it should be Tonel.

Penafiel shows up for these games, especially at home. But they aren't as strong as last season. I can see Penafiel pulling a tie but not winning.

Sporting won the game 1-0 with a first half effort from Liedson following a Moutinho freekick.

Liedson scored in the 2nd half not very convincing but 3 points and 2 away from SLBosta isnt that bad.

Thats right, well SCP needs to win games, we will take any points no matter what remember we played the most attractive futebol last season and it got us no where, now we just have to try and scrap out some points.

A win for Sporting but Sporting sat back and were very close to giving Penafial a point. Sporting has to step it up to get any where this season imo.

Not a very convincing win, this one.

Sporting has yet to have a real convincing win. They have yet to win by more then one goal.

Sporting did have a convincing win against Benfica they out played them almost the hwole game 3 balls were cleared opff the goal line by defenders. I consider that convincing.

The fact that you beat Benfica by one goal, it doesn't matter if you had all those chances. it was not a comfortable win, Benfica could of pulled one back.

watched it, it was a boring match, but alotta skills though
