The Barca players that will be available for this match:
Valdés, Jorquera, Puyol, Iniesta, Edmílson, Sylvinho, Oleguer, Deco, Giuly, Belletti, Larsson, Motta, Eto'o, Gabri, Van Bronckhorst, Ronaldinho, Márquez and Ezquerro.
Xavi and Messi are being given the day off.
Belletti is back in the team from injury.
Maxi Lopez is out of the team yet again, fueling speculation that he will be loaned out to Betis in the winter market. He will be CL available for Betis if they advance as he has not played in CL yet this season.
I look for the starting lineup to show more rotations as well.

Actually, this is just the same rotations he has been doing all year. 'Arrogant' is far from what Barca and Rijkaard are. Messi has started VERY few matches for Barca, and Xavi has been rested once before, and we still won. These rotations are a sign of a very deap and talented team, not arrogance.
Also, they play a 4-3-3, not the formation you have posted.
The line up I think you will see:
................Valdes..................
..Oleguer..Puyol..Marquez..Sylvinho
.................Motta....................
.......Iniesta............Deco.........
Giuly............Eto'o........Ronaldinho
And you might see Larsson in place of Eto'o actually.
I think Belletti, fresh off an injury will not start, but will sub in at half time or in the second half.
I think if Larsson and Ezquerro don't start, they will be in the match as the other two subs unless Rijkaard is forced from injuries to make other changes.

My prediction of the starting line:
************Valdes************
Oleguer****Puyol*Marquez***Gio*
************ Motta*************
******Iniesta*********Deco*****
**Giuly****************Dinho***
*************Eto'o*************
I think if we are leading the game Ronaldinho will be rested and replaced by Larson.
At the end of the game Belletti will get some minutes by replacing Marquez, Oleguer will then move to the center.

Hopefully we will see Eto'o and Ronaldinho. We have a good record and a good streak of wins going. I would like to keep it nice, with a clean sheet. 3-0 win for me. Ronaldinho with a goal and Eto'o with two. That would make Ronaldinho and Eto'o joint top scorers, unless someone gets 6 goals.
My line-up:
...................Valdes..................
..Oleguer..Puyol..Marquez..Sylvinho
...................Motta....................
.......Iniesta............Deco.........
Giuly............Eto'o........Ronaldinho

Well, I think it will be a 3-1 or 3-2 win for us. I don't think we keep the clean sheet this time. I also think Rijkaard will make more changes than we anticipate. My GUESS for now is:
......................Valdes.......................
Oleguer...Marquez....Edmilson...Sylvinho
.......................Motta.........................
.....Iniesta....................Deco..............
Giuly.............Eto'o..........Ronaldinho........
Just my guess.

I am hoping for an open and entertaining match from two of the more entertaining teams in Europe. Bremen's last game in the CL was a classic and they do have quality up front so I think that it will be a back and forth game.

Yeah, should be very fun to watch, too bad ESPN2 in USA doesn't know it's arse from an elbow, as they only show Man U and Real Madrid no matter what other games are on. Then again, the Villareal vs Man U could be fun to watch as a supporter of La Liga teams in CL. A Villareal win is good for 3 or 4 million Euros for Barca after all.

Here's a preview:
CL Preview: Barcelona-Werder Bremen
Werder Bremen might have banged in six goals over the weekend, but few would envy them as they travel to Catalunya to face Barcelona. And with defeat being a potential knock-out, their backs are firmly against the wall. Or so believes everyone but them!
BACKGROUND
Barcelona’s breathtaking display at the Bernabeu has sent terrors down the spines of Europe’s elite, while also catapulting them to the top of La Liga.
But it’s the Champions League that Rijkaard and his men want more than anything else, and a similar performance against Bremen will have European teams scampering to avoid facing them early in the knock-out stages, if that is not already the case.
But they’ve only won six consecutive games, one might say. True, teams have put six consecutive wins together way too often for it to raise any alarm bells. It’s the manner in which they have destroyed the opposition that has demanded attention.
Forget Real Madrid’s thrashing, if you can, for a moment. The last time they played at home in the Champions League, they ran circles around Panathinaikos, humiliating them 5-0 in what was labeled as one of the finest displays ever in the Champions League. And their last home outing in La Liga? Another 5-0 rout of Real Sociedad.
Having said that, Rijkaard is not one to get sucked into this showmanship, and will definitely rest a few players. The general feeling in Barcelona is that, with top spot in the group pretty much done and dusted, and with Real Madrid in shambles, this is the time to put daylight between them and their pursuers in La Liga.
Xavi and Messi have been rested for the game, and Edmilson will probably be on the bench too. But the problem for Werder Bremen is, that with Iniesta, Guily and Motta coming in, Rijkaard still has pretty much a first eleven. That Larsson and Ezquerro are waiting in the wings, and Van Bommel yet to recover, further underlines how dangerous this side can be come the end of the season.
There have been voices coming from the visitors’ camp labeling Barcelona as the best in Europe, and if Bremen could do anything to make Barcelona take them lightly, they are doing it. However, they are quietly confident after the 6-1 thrashing of Wolfsburg over the week-end, which was an authoritative display despite coming against a weak team.
Panathinaikos, Udinese and Bremen are all tied on four points, and are in a dog-fight for the second spot in the group. Panathinaikos have a slight edge, but only because they have played both their matches against Barcelona, so any points tomorrow will be pure delight for the Germans.
And Schaaf knows his side will create plenty of chances, as they always do. If they can just prove to be a little more clinical in front of goal, the Barcelona back line might be tested. The Germans have racked up 38 goals in 13 Bundesliga matches, by far the best average in Europe, but their Champions League story has been one of wasted opportunities.
What will give Schaaf more hope, is that Barcelona are yet to come up against a team which are close to as fluent as them in attack. They did lock horns with Bremen earlier, and were clearly outplayed despite returning home with a win.
Rijkaard, in turn, will see this as a chance to test his defense ahead of bigger tests in the Champions League, especially his side’s performance in the air against the Germans. If Barcelona are to progress in knock-out rounds, they must learn to keep clean sheets against sides like these, and I will be very surprised if they do.
FORM GUIDE (all competitions)
Barcelona: WWWWWW
Red hot form, with 21 goals scored, and just one conceded, has seen Barcelona rise from eleventh to first in La Liga in the period, and also qualify for the knock-out stages.
Werder Bremen: DDWWLW
All three wins have come at home, but other than the loss against a clearly superior Bayern Munich, Thomas Schaaf’s charges have given little away, away from home, despite the two unlucky draws against Udinese and Hannover 96.
PREVIOUS ENCOUNTERS
Barcelona’s trip to Germany on the first match-day ended in a rather lucky victory for the Catalans, with Bremen dominating most of the match, but failing to put away their chances. Prior to that, the two teams last met in 1993 in the Super Cup, when Cryuff’s Barcelona won 3-2 on aggregate.
TEAM NEWS
Barcelona: There has been euphoria all around, but the team has been focused, choosing to mention that they haven’t won anything yet, and that a lot of work remains to be done. One point from two games will be sufficient to secure top spot. Van Bommel is out until Christmas, as is youngster Damia, but Belletti has recovered from an ankle injury and made the squad. Xavi, Messi, and Maxi Lopez have been left out, meaning Iniesta and Guily will certainly start. Edmilson will probably be replaced by Motta, and Gio by Sylvinho. There is also indication that Rijkaard may give Ronaldinho and Eto’o no more than an hour on the pitch, thus giving Ezquerro and Larsson a run-out.
Werder Bremen: Striker Klasnic is still out following his operation for appendicitis, which means Valdez will partner Bundesliga’s leading scored Miroslav Klose, who bagged a brace on Saturday. They will as usual be supported by the ever-dangerous Micoud, and rely on the abilities of Owomoyela and Naldo to keep Barcelona at bay.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Barcelona: Andres Iniesta
The youngster was Rijkaard’s favourite substitute last season, and played all of Barcelona’s first 33 matches, but has seen little action this season due to more competition. Rijkaard, however, is a huge fan of his mobility and vision, and he is as capable of providing defense splitting passes as getting into dangerous positions himself.
Werder Bremen: Micoud and Klose
The Frenchman has been in phenomenal form this season, and links up the strikers with the rest of the team brilliantly. He is also dominant in the air, and good at drawing markers wide, leaving a hole for team-mates to exploit. His tussle with Motta could be the key to the encounter. And Klose is among the best forwards in the world in terms of ability in the air, which means Marquez will have his hands full.
PROBABLE LINE-UPS
Barcelona: 4-3-3. Jorquera – Oleguer/Gabri, Puyol, Marquez, Sylvinho - Motta, Deco, Iniesta – Guily, Ronaldinho, Eto’o.
Werder Bremen: 4-4-2. Reinke – Fahrenhorst, Naldo, Baumann, Owomoyela – Frings, Schulz, Borowski, Micoud – Valdez, Klose.
PREDICTION
For Barcelona, despite all the calls of concentration, it is but a test, not a match of consequence. Bremen want it much more, and will surely create enough chances to be in it for a long time. Both sides will be relatively happy with a share of the spoils, Bremen because it could be worse. Only relatively though, as Rijkaard will be worried about his defense, and Schaaf, about having to fight it out with Panathinaikos on the last day.
Barcelona 2-2 Werder Bremen

Great frist half, Barca in control, too bad the penalty was given, but Gio did foul him on the line of the box, so penalty is just. Nice to know with Xavi, Eto'o out, we can still control a game. Hope we hold on to win it, and I hope Larsson gets his goal! He had 2 great chances saved.
Ronaldinho with the assist and the NEAR assist on Larsson's header, and the goal of course, is in great form.
Now in front with 5 goals for CL group stage leader.
