The only thing I heard was that Alberto Medina and Omar Bravo were caought driving drunk about a week ago...and Chivas management was debating on wether they should be fined or something, or punished in some other way. In the end I think that they decided that because they both had accepted their mistake, there wasn't going to be any repricussions...

The only thing I'm worried about is that for the 2nd leg of Chivas-Cienciano....Masa, Salcido, and A.Medina wont be playing, cause they will be with the National team.
AND Cienciano has a history of really crazy comebacks in 2nd leg games...
But I am still very confident towards Chivas. If they win this saturday against Veracruz they will be in near-perfect form for wednesday's game...

Yes, but Cienciano also has a really crazy history of being from Peru and thats reason enough for them to lose.
We have a good lead, all we need to do is score one more and thats it. A little containment here and there, tha Libertadores is ours! muahahahahaha

I watched the game, and although the first half was kinda boring for both sides, Bravo's 2 goals near the end of the game made up for it

I liked the 2nd goal.
Now as kid a said, all they need to do wednesday against cianciano, is maybe get an early goal and play smart football, control the game, and pressure Cienciano...and they will be through...

Cienciano 2Well what can I say, I actually watched this game, started tight. What am I saying, it was never tight, it was always Chivas' game, Cienciano failed to score in the first half and that sealed the deal, then two Chivas goals, a Cienciano goal followed by three more Chivas goals.
At the end the Peruvian crowd was chanting the Chivas Oles and downright cheering for us while booing their team who showed no heart.
We're in the Libertadores agains Boca, Once Caldas and some other team. This is gonna be fun.
edit: this calls for some dancing bananas AND some humping guys

I watched the game as well. My whole family actually was with me... Every Chivas goal was spectacular.
As I said last week, if chivas won their game against Cienciano then they would be more than ready for Saturday's game against Tigres... Welll obviously they accomplished that so now it's on to beating Tigres and then getting mentally focused to handle the Mexican tourney and the Libertadores.

Major Events:
2 beautiful goals by ChivasChivas started out the game playing very well, at minute 4 Morales scored and then later at minute 18 Medina... things chilled for a moment where Talavera became the protagonist of the game by stopping 2 sure goals by Tigres... towards the end of the first half tragedy struck, as Johnny Garcia scored another beautiful yet tragic goal... why was it tragic? well cause it was in his own goal.
The 2nd half seemed to be the portion of the game where Chivas' stammina took a huge toll mainly because of the busy week they had (visiting Cienciano on wednesday) The game was about regular, football-wise, up until around minute 58 Bofo was sub'd for Sabah and Chivas' attack was severely weakened and so Galindo decided to hold on to the slender lead of 1 goal and hope for a win. Although this was not a very smart move, Chivas still were trying very hard to keep up with the opposition with several options of scoring including a well-taken free kick by Sol which hit the crossbar, which in turn could have given them the lead after Nestor Silvera tied the match with a brilliant header around minute 72'...

Some say it was the greatest clasico ever, I dont know about that, I remember the time we beat em 5-0 and the time we came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat em 3-2. I didnt see the game because fuckin sears had me working all weekend, but the Chivas goals were spectacular, the win should have been ours, but at least we didnt lose.

Well it wasn't the greatest clasico ever, but it was one of the best games chivas have played against America. The way that they never gave up, the determination, and the flare to create 3 wonderful goals made the game very exciting to watch.
Overall I think both teams played well but Chivas were the ones controlling the game, most of the time... but the classico is now over, and now it's on to focusing on getting points in order to be well on our way to enter the liguilla.

ok guys
What do u guys think about the red card to Omar Bravo and not beening able to play 3 games? I don;t think it was a correct call. First, i will like to say that Omar did not deserve a direct red card for htat tackle. From all the highlights i have seen, it looked like he hit all ball. But if it was a foul, there is no way it was for a red card nor for 3 games suspension. IMO
Red card is okay, but 3 games? That's harsh.
