okay, before nobody does it i start the match topic.
this is a vital game for both teams and both teams could make a big step in the direction of the knockout stages if they win.
Schalke will look to bounce back at Veltins Arena on wednesday from the first meeting between these 2 at Eindhoven when Eindhoven won 1-0 which was a bad start in the group stages for Schalke.

feel free to discuss everything about the match here thumbsup.gif

I am supporting PSV tonight! Hiddink has a great team, I am going to pay close attention to Aisatti and Afellay. They are 17 and 19 years old and in the starting 11 for PSV tonight clapping.gif
mmm...
1-0 for schalke
JohanNeeskens
Yep, penalty after a handball from Ooijer dry.gif
Both teams are equal ATM, they both started off very nervous but the penalty gave Schalke confidence and they just hit the post, PSV was lucky there.

1-0 at halftime which is a good and fair result.
when Schalke can get a second soon then the job for this game should be done.

And he is a defender!
He has never shot more than one goal in a match and never scorred in the CL.

^^^^^ Well, 2 of them were penalties. You don't have to be a striker to shoot penalties.
energy41
agreed, but it wasn't the first time he scored more than one goal. he already scored 2 goals in one match when he was played for Freiburg in the 2nd Bundesliga but this was like 3 or 4 years ago.

great win by schalke, its fully possible to advance to the next stage now.
energy41
right but they need to win themselves or get a draw like 3-3 or higher or a Fenerbahce draw.
i think the biggest hope for them is a Fenerbahce draw because a 3-3 does not seem to realistic to me and a win will be damn tough, but they can definately go through thumbsup.gif
JohanNeeskens
If you beat Milan and PSV beat Fenerbahce both PSV and Schalke go trough. That sounds great to me, Milan out in the first round! Let's do that bigsmile.gif
