In his public apology, Cousins described his drug problem as "substance use"

Eh Eagles are still flying, even without him.

Well he doesn't want to publicly say he took illegal drugs otherwise he can get a ban from the AFL, which i'm sure he wants to avoid. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays again later this season.

Motherfucker. 126 plays 19 at half time. Just when I thought our season couldn't get worse.

Unbelievable. I don't really follow AFL but that was an absolute flogging. LOL at Richmond

Eagles lost their first game of the year to Geelong today. Demons still can't win a game along with Richmond either. Will be a long year for those 2.

i went to the hawthorn-st kilda match on saturday night, the worst match i have ever been to. almost fell asleep, half the crowd was booing, it was just terrible. at 3qtr time there had only been 7 goals scored, absolutely disgraceful
There's Only One United
May 22 2007, 08:49 AM
Feel sorry for you. Watched half of it at a bar before the FA Cup final and lets just say I tried to drink a few quickly to make the game more enjoyable!!! And to think on the same night Carlton and kangaross played a 44 goal thriller.
George Foreman.
May 22 2007, 05:29 PM
Worst game ever that was. But good too see my hawthorn doing good. Premiers this season i say!

Massive upset by the Hawks. 6 goals is a pretty big margin. I guess West Coast have to lose a few games here or there. Anyone know Luke Jericho from the crows? I used to go to school with him years ago, he was a few grades above me. Did quite well for Adelaide again today.

The AFL once again shows its bias towards big name players, Judd's suspension is removed on appeal. Bloody disgraceful
There's Only One United
May 29 2007, 04:06 AM
Knew that would happen! Was trying to think who would've been the Brownlow favourite if he was suspended. Maybe McLeod?
Scousy
May 29 2007, 08:31 PM
Surely it would have been Jimmy Bartel?
But yeah, the AFL are fast becoming a joke. It wasn't even as if he hand just brushed his face either, it was there for a good 5-10 seconds.
As for the daylight robbery that happened on saturday night, I only have one thing to say, who are the dirty little Hitler's than run the Rules Panel?

on the news it said Cornes would've been favourite and i feel so sorry for Richmond. terrible decision against Richardson (I was hoping so much to see Melbourne on the bottom of the ladder)
There's Only One United
May 30 2007, 04:10 AM
If by Cornes, you mean Chad then according to my dad it couldn't be further from the truth. Apparently the other day he got best player for Port when he said he never saw him in the whole second half (he was at the game to) and that all his possessions are uncontested ones as he's a bit soft. Polls well with the umpires though for some reason.

If Kane Johnson hadn't have had that god awful brain fart and just roosted the ball goalward we would have won. All we needed was a score, any score.
Who was he aiming for? There was about 4 Lions players and 1 Richmond player where he kicked it.
George Foreman.

Fuckin' A
Another top performance from the lads - we just keep going from strength to strength every week. I still think a flag is at least another year or two off, but the signs are boding well for the future
How about those Cats though? Looking near unbeatable at the moment - perhaps it is finally their year?

What a performance by the hawks tonight. Will certainly be around come september.
Anyone else see during the week that some guy said if Barry Hall started a career in boxing he could earn up to $10 million a year. Don't think he'd do it though as would be earning pretty good money in AFL without getting his head smashed in.

Even though the Cats are absolutely flying, you need to remember that Hawthorn beat them in about round 3 or 4. The Hawkas should be looked at as a bigger Premiership chance the they currently are
