Brugge take on Bayern on wednesday but this match has not much priority as Brugge have the 3rd place in their group for sure while Bayern fight with Juventus for the 1st place who has not to be an advantage so i expect an uninspired and boring game.

match preview

even this game isn't too important Bayern should win it though to boost their confidence a bit.

here are the expected line ups for the match taken from the offical Bayern homepage.

FC Brügge: Butina – Claement, Maertens, Spilar, Gvozdenovic – Vanaudenaerde, Dufer, Leko, Vermant – Balaban, Ishiaku

FC Bayern: Kahn – Lahm, Ismael, Demichelis, Lizarazu – Deisler, Hargreaves, Ballack, Schweinsteiger – Makaay, Pizarro
subs: Rensing, Ottl, Jeremies, Karimi, Zé Roberto, Guerrero

this means that the only change compared to saturdays 0-0 at Stuttgart is at right back with Lahm replacing Sagnol.
Ottl could also play there which should the young lad well. Hargreaves is another candidate for the right back position, Jeremies would fill in the centre midfield role then.
Lucio is missing but we still have a decent team together.

if anybody knows well about Brugge then go ahead as i don't know too much about them thumbsup.gif

Game ends with a 1 - 1 tie. With the draw, Bayern slip into second and Juve move up to 1st place in the group with 15 pts.

it was a bad performance by Bayern but if the refree would have made the right calls then we would have won 2-1 but for strange reasons the refree blown the full time whistle while Bayern attacked and Guerrero scored.
Makaay was not good at all, he should not have started in such a game.
anyway, we are through and have just performed well at home vs Juve and Vienna so our best is still ahead of us.

FC Brügge: Butina - Clement, Maertens, Spilar - Vandelannoite, Vermant, Englebert (90. Vanaudenaerde), Roelandts - Yulu Matondo (89. Dufer), Lange (78. Gvozdenovic), Portillo

FC Bayern: Kahn - Lahm, Ismael, Demichelis, Lizarazu - Deisler, Hargreaves (67. Schweinsteiger), Ballack, Karimi (46. Zé Roberto) - Makaay (46. Guerrero), Pizarro

goals: 0:1 Pizarro (21.), 1:1 Portillio (32.)
