I tihnk throwning the exec into it is a bit unfair. I think thaqt would be more for comparison with the 7406.

fuck the copas, i had those but they got all crusty on me. i now have execs and they have THE BEST FEEL of any shoe out there. sole kinda separating from top part, but ive had them since they came out. great asymetrical design too. and the colors

7406 is not that good IMO

King/king exec are way more better than the 7046. Can you see any pro player wears them in a match? why? cause they are better than kings? lol

yeah i didnt treat them as well as i should. im not really bad mouthing them, im just saying the execs are SOOOOOO much better.

LOL pros wearing the boots has nothing to do with it, but either way i tried the exec on today in a shop and i doubt very much 7406 are going to be better, if they are i'll buy a couple pairs, cause the exec seemed to be like made exacly for my foot as soon as i put them on!

I think the original kings and copas would be pretty much the same, it would really come down to personal perference. Execs, sli's and 7406 etc are a different story.

yeah, imma copa mundial fan, but i havnt ever had a pair of pumas but copa mundials are excellenttt

dont listen to knvbsoccer09 if you want an opinion that matters. i know him hes a stupid kid when it comes to boots, but i played with his execs and they are pretty nice. i think my cells have better touch though. id go for pumas, they look alot better than copas

Keeping on topic, today I purchased the Puma King Exec. Italian Colourway (from the website above - £60), due to the fact that the Nike Legends I currently wear (purchased in July), had a slight hole in the front of the left boot, which subsequently, lets in mud and water (especially in recent conditions) and also for the fact that they were getting slightly too small for me (size 10).

This will be the first Puma boot I will have ever worn , so can some owners just name the pro's and con's of the boot please ?

HUMMEL TOMASSONS. same niche, all k-leather, all about touch, nothing really tech-fancy. i just ordered a pair myself (deal too good to pass up on footlocker.com/eastbay) and will review them if you guys like. any comments on these?

PS. note: i'm still planning on getting World Cups/Kings SG though, so more comments are absolutely welcome!

PPS. i can't belive how much puma has improved their lines of boots. i'm more excited for the Kontakts and the V1s than any other boots (well, except maybe the tunits, but those are all but unaffordable anyway).

Im in need of some boots and since Im on a budget I was probably going to get Copas.
But I would like some information on some other boots in the price range of Copas. I was thinking of getting the New Aveiro but I have no clue when they are going to be released.

Anyone want to help me with some selection? If not ill probably get the copas.

no problem, it's nice not to be the only one on the receiving end of all the advice. The new Averios are coming out in around 6 months, so I don't know if you can wait that long (i'm def getting a pair though). on your budget though, consider this: most websites right now (esp. footlocker/eastbay, PDS, and Justsocca) have amazing sales right now so you could get a whole range of top level boots for prices cheaper than copas (w/c never go on sale because they are classics). I just bought pulses for USD 50, hummel tomassons for USD 60, and manias for USD 90 (because of expensive shipping to US from UK). depending on your size, you can seriously get almost ANY style shoe for under/equal price as copas, if you just persevere and look.
