Great draw. Big teams v Big teams. Smaller v Smaller (generally).
Chelsea v Barca the drawcard once again, with Milan and Munich and Madrid v Arsenal the next biggest games.

I'm not worried, at all.

5-4 aggregate victory, due to foul on Valdes by Carvalho.
Revenge anybody?

Chelsea vs Barca re-match was inevitable - hopefully Barca get the result they should have had last season.
Arsenal Vs Real - I've been waiting for this fixture for years and i simply cant wait both teams are alike in a sense lost 4-5 games each this season in their respective leagues and aren't at their best at the moment. But come feb with everybody beng fit on both sides we have a potential lassic on our hands
Peace

Well if thats the case, plenty of options on the Menu.
*Ronaldinho hat-trick, with a side serving of the Messi brace on eggs.
*Eto'o "Monkey Dance" cuisine, courtesy of Futbol Clube de Barcelona

*The Deco Roasted Diving Fish fried in exquisite Olive Oil de la Xavi
*The Dutchmans Ship, served in the Ten Cate sauce followed by the van Bommel mousse creme
Take your pick

Yay, Ajax - Inter. One of the few teams where I think Ajx will stand a chance.
And of course Barca - Chelsea aka Rijkaard - Mourinho. Great stuff. Looking forward to all of the matches really

I think Rangers and Ajax got the two best draws. Inter have some flair, but no balls from what I have seen.
Great draws though, gonna be a nightmare having to miss some of the games because I am watching rangers. Its a new thing for us see...

Just wondering, what would have happened if Manchester United qualified instaed of Benfica? They can't play Liverpool, and can't play Villareal either, and i don't think UEFA can fix the draw so that Manchester United won't end up in that situation. So how?
Anyway
Chelski v Barcelona
Real Madrid v Arsenal
Werder Bremen v Juventus
Bayern Munich v AC Milan
PSV Eindhoven v Lyon
Ajax v Inter Milan
Benfica v Liverpool
Rangers v Villarreal

The draw was made as such that Manyoo when drawn out would have had a list of who they could get! They could have got Liverpool however as Liverpool have no country protection this year due to the fiasco last year with them qualifying

Yeah, definitely. I was hoping for either Villa, Liverpool, or Inter.
Iinter Milan has always had all the big players you could possibly wish for, but they never seem to’ve developed a real “team”.
Villareal are a very strong side, but aren’t in the same class as some of the other world class clubs, so who knows, maybe Rangers can pull off another stunt
^ Third time i’ve typed that by the way, damn server keeps crashing.

The list wouldn't matter if there were only two teams left when they were picked (if you replace them directly with Benfica, and hence finding themselves in the same situation as Benfica). But anyway, I forgot that Liverpool don't have country protection, I could swear though that when the draw was being made, something was being said that Arsenal could possibly play Liverpool play too
But anyway, what
would happen if Liverpool DID have country protection, and Manchester United are in Benfica's shoes?

I'm very happy about the draw, we have a great chance of getting through. Villarreal and Rangers both got lucky, I think both sides' fans were hoping for exactly what they got, now both teams have the best chance of qualifying.
But I think we can get through it, the second leg is at home so if we did badly at all in the first leg we can recoup our losses and inflict more pain to get through.

Very interesting draw... Some juicy matches waiting there. Especially looking forward to Chelsea v. Barca and Real v. Arsenal. Rangers v. Villarreal, both a bit lucky, avoided the most toughest teams. My wishes go to Barca, hopefully they win the whole cup. Or PSV!!

Wow!This year's draw brought out some very interesting couples!!
Barcelona VS Chelsea is the biggest one of course.I think that Barcelona will probably be taking their "revenge" this year...
Bayern VS AC Milan will also be very tough,as will be Arsenal VS Real Madrid...
Juventus,Inter and Liverpool seem to have easier opponents(well, you never know but...)
Villarreal got pretty lucky:Rangers are the best team they could have gotten!
Anyway,my very early prediction is:
Chelsea-Barcelona
Real Madrid-Arsenal
Werder Bremen-Juventus
Bayern Munich-AC Milan
PSV Eindhoven-Lyon
Ajax-Inter Milan
Benfica-Liverpool
Rangers-Villarreal
