Well, the Nike Assassins break into the players house in the middle of the night, and steal every other brand of shoe, clothing, you might have, and replace it with Nike Gear. Then they sedate you, dress you up in all Nike Gear, take pictures, and use those for their ads. Which is why many players still don't remember doing these ads, and are waiting for money they'll never receive. laugh.gif

Honestly though, I don't know? Loss of sponsorship maybe? I think it's a fine actually, didn't Pires get fined for something like that? shrug03.gif

It really all depends on what's in the contract between the company and player. Some contracts can be really flexible and some and can be really strict.

yeah becks contract is probly real strict rolleyes.gif but I think most players contracts are for mainly boots and stuff like that, but argentina may have got those from Adidas and gave them to the players wink.gif

im pretty sure they can sue you fer breach of contract or something. Not happy times. i saw some boots somewhere that were adidas but all the adidas signs were taken off or something so it technically wasnt a breach of contract. but who knows... shrug03.gif

Yes they can sue for breach of contract. In rugby the players have to cover up the logo on their headgear if the team isn't sponsored by them.

Yeah I've seen that^^

Surely that ball shouldn't be that muddy on the pitches the proffesional play on!?

just an educated guess...but i think he's actually playing on a clay court, so its not mud; but dust.
This would also explain why he's wearing trainers...
Crofty
He probably just didnt have any nike flats with him and had to borrow someones elses. shrug03.gif If he had have worn adidas boots in an actual match it would be a different story. He probably isnt supposed to wear adidas stuff at all (except team issuded kit) but i dont think he'd get sued/sacked over one little thing like that.
