So i've sent my Pulses back to Adidas last week and i'm hoping for a minimum of about £50 return on them..
If they are to offer a Adidas Gift Card for bout £50-70, would it be wise to buy the Absolions instead of investing in the Absolutes?
I have a few questions on the Absolions..
1. Are they still K-Leather?
2. Does the Powerpulse make any difference in the Absolutes?
3. From pics i don't see any noticeable differences but i may be wrong so, are there any noticeable visual differences between the Absolions and the Absolutes?
4. Are the Absolions of the same touch quality as the Absolutes?
Better yet, if anybody with the Absolions could write a review, that would be great!?

Its in the Review database now

Yeah, but would you have 1 EUR as a starting price, when it's an un-released color, if you would sell them!?!

I doubt thats the reason - look at the top. It has the Adidas symbol and three stripes down the arms, so its not a marketing thing.

I'm not so sure about that. With al the problems surrounding the A3 technology, Adidas may be relaunching these.

What does "Backorder" mean? Cause at Soccer.com, they've got the Trinadad and Tobago upper but only in one size. Does this mean that they will recieve more T&T uppers in different sizes then?

Was going to stitch some velcro onto the tounge and over the laces but then thought why do that when if I have a strap on it I can adjust the length of the tounge instead of being stuck with just one velcro position.
It cost me $24 tho!...but I went to the Dentists and the shoe place is like 2 doors down so I was like stuff it.

okay guys really need your help!!! living in oklahoma, we dont get a lot of wet weather in the fall/spring, but since my school plays winter soccer, we play in rain and snow. i want to get World Cups, so when its wet, i cant have the SG studs. My question is, do they sell firm ground screw in studs that would go into the world cups instead of the SG studs? so then when its not wet, i would have a 6 studded FG boot. hopefully someone will know this! and if possible a place where i could buy these FG studs..thank you
edit-do the world cups soak up a lot of water so when its wet they weigh a lot?

My brother actually have Uhlsport-studs which fit, but they have never been tested so durability...? These studs you can find in every sport shop! Sorry about the big pic! My first time...won't happen again!

the durability of the boot is lost though when you have them converted because the sole plate can't take the metal studs

Jun 27 2006, 10:03 PM
soccer.com sells the plastic studs that will fit the world cups. With most leagues that ban SG studs its not the SG that is the problem, but the metal studs themselves. As for taking on water, yes they will, no question about it! But here's what you do, get some chelsea leather food and put it on every 5 games and they'll be waterproof---except for through the sides of the tongue or the laces. Just rub it in with your hands and let it sit overnight, then with a paper towel, buff off any excess and you'll be good to go. And the leather will last forever! I had a pair of copas for five years and they were still really soft---studs were almost gone, but the leather was like brand-new!

utd12
Jun 28 2006, 07:06 AM
yeah, those are the ones....blisters, hmmm...maybe! I've never had those so I don't know how soft they are compared to the metal ones. The metal ones would give you blisters on firmer ground, no question, but nylon studs have a little give to them so they might absorb the stress before it reaches your foot...your call soldier

I think you'll be fine.
You're a keeper, no?
If you're a keeper I think the studs in them will be 100% fine...I play rugby and no matter how hard the ground is some of the guys will always wear SG studs and they pull up fine...so im sure you'll survive.

If you have Tunits, i'd take the studs out and try to put them in, no harm...but if you don't have tunits it'd be a waste because the studs themselves are hugely overpriced.
I say play a game with the studs that came with your World Cups and see if you have any problems. If you do try something else, if you don't have any problems...we'll problem solved kinda.
