I don't know, I guess they wanted a change. It's a little strange what happened with those boots though. They were kind of made out to be the special Jermain Defoe model but he barely used them and only a few other players wore them. Strange they only made them in FG too. I wonder if they were a little experiment with synthetics. I liked them personally and would have bought them if they had fitted my feet better.

I'm almost positive that they're made of entire ULT-K Leather...not synthetic. Someone posted their tag on the boots a while back and it said they were all leather.

hmm i remember it differently! i know someone posted a pic of the tag, but i thought we figured out they were synthetic. well i could be wrong. anyone with the tag still could maybe take a pic?

Just to clear up the confusion they were ULT-k but its a synthetic its not acutall k-leather its supposed to be a really good immitation and is more cost effective, there was a reason for them being synthetics aswell but i forgot now.

Ah yeah, I completely forgot. There were a few German players who wore them for a while. Certainly longer than JD did. Ashley Cole wore them once or twice too. I remember seeing JD wearing some SG ones too which looked nice.

I was in the Adidas store on Oxford St yesterday and they guy said after the 16th, they should be getting in Liverpool and Chelsea predators and T-units. I dunno how true it was, he said the Liverpool predators were all red and Chelsea *spit* were all blue.

Basically the guy told me that they'd had one of their meetings and a guy came in to show the new products they had coming in (I asked if I could see a pic, but he said that he didn't have any). I really wouldn't be suprised to see an all red boot to coincide with signing the greatest team English football has ever seen. I'm still not sure why they'd do a Chelsea one tho (I kid I kid!)

I was under the impression that ULT-K was actually calf leather---at least that's what the adidas site said when they were selling the F50+ that had ULT-K on the front portion of the boot. Check soccer.com. They list ULT-K as a "treated calfskin". In any event, the goals are beautiful!!!

Yeah they do, and the shipment won't come with a box due to "shipping weight" reasons. They have to be a fake.

well theres a few other things i noticed with it.

no strap (as pointed out earlier).

the predator elements are not meant to be all coloured in but are supposed to be thin strips with gaps inbetween them.

there is no visible predator "window" in which a power pulse insole or a regular black insole should be seen.

they are the same colour as the beckham ones, and are synthetic, so one must assume they are meant to be cardinal absolutes. so where is the DB logo on the base of the boot?

also notice how they are advertised as "PREDATOR ABSOLUTE CLEATS" these are clearly not absolutes, and i wouldnt trust the guy because he also goes on about how beckham helped design it, powerpulse blah blah..

yep i dont think theyre for the field, as theyre too expensive. but theyre more casual shoes, as you cant put studs in i believe. ST maybe stands for street, similar to other adidas products with ST in the name.

I have astroturf at my school and I'll be playing on it very much. I really want to get F50+ a3 or even F50 a3 but can't find them ANYWHERE. Does anyone know a website or store where II could find them. It really doesn't matter which colors are available because they're all really amazing. And if anyone has a pair can you tell me what they are like? Thanks

bad news: only F50+ and only available in flipper-sizes (12 and 13)

you could look at it two ways. 1) if your never going play the game again, then go for the lower-end boot 2) just because the summer ends, doesnt mean you cant use the boots again next summer(keeping in mind that your foot wont grow or any other factors).
