Just ordered a pair of beckham absolutes in FG. not sure when ill get em tho

u can now find the black/red abs SG/FG, 7406 FG and becks absolute FG on www.thestore.adidas.com

but the strange thing is that on the description of the Becks Absolute u can read this:

im sure its just a typo. we all know that they are synthetic. adidas probably just used the generic absolute description for the beckz. i hope theres no problems cause i had a GC and i just ordered mine this weekend.

I spoke with Eurosport today and the Black/Red and Beckham Absolutes should start getting shipped out today or tomorrow. I'm surprised they're not in yet because most pre-ordered boots ship about 2 weeks before their release date and these haven't even been shipped with their release date being yesterday.

o kool so that means ill get my becks abs soon. How light are they REALLY. ive heard 12 oz, 10.2 oz, and 7.6 oz. are the weight that is put on sites including the powerpulse insole?

i dont think anyone knows realy^..but when you get them find out for us!

hey just got my absolutes 2day and they are the most comfy boot ever!! even tho they are a size 2 big it dont matter!
man with the light insole they are lighter than i expected ive only played in the light insole but god sole for the powerpulse is fairly heavy! i understand now how they would make u have a more poweful kick
and one more thing i swear to god i get twice as much curl with these than i did with pulses and i anit kicking any different!

with light insole-8.8 oz

I never wear the power insole with my leather absolutes so im phsyched!

When I spoke to the lady on the phone, she told me all the colors that are being released. i think it was the premium pack, not sure but one of the cleats is suppose the have different colors in the stripes,(probably teams sponsered by adidas in world cup)

Hey got another post about tunits,

There is a store in montreal quebec, canada that is selling the red upper for the tunits

I called evangelistasports last week and the lady on the phone told me they will be getting the red upper tunits in 2 weeks.

Don't mean to sound silly here, but are the Tunits actually a new Adidas f50+ boot, replacing the F50+, or are they just like special colurs you can put on the F50+?

It is a completely new boot. You buy the whole package first (upper / insoles / studs) and then you can buy more uppers seperately. A bit like mobile phone covers

Is it just me or does the toe on the tunits look quite high up more like a rugby boot thatn a football boot how will u manage to get under the ball and the shells look quite rigid any1 actually had a pair on??? are they comfy?? they look smart but i have my doubts about them!

Hmm all the new boots seem to be going by the same raised toebox idea, Vap 3, absolutes, konstructs i'm not sure why this is but im sure its for a good reason if all the companies are doing it!

Yes it will replace the f50+ boot, but the older f50 ranges will still be available for sale the Tunits will be available March 15, 2006. The colors that will be available will be: collegiate royal/electricity/moon, black/white/metallic silver. The electricity/collegiate royal and the fierce red/black/metallic silver will be available on the April 15, 2006.

Wow!! These boots are sounding to make their worth...but the only colour i think i'll get is black.

Be good to see how these boots really test out, Anyone know if theres any info on players reflecting on the boots.

Thats bullshit. adidas has mad tickets on themselves if thats what they're saying. I tried on a pair of absolutes with the normal sole and, sure, they were kinda light, but more like exec kinda light, not vapor light.

i no its a bit of a rondom subject change but AMAZIN NEWS!!!! In Nuts magazine it says Adidas r planning to release a fully customizable boot where u can change the colour, design and overall feel of the boot to match ur needs.

All it says in a very small caption is dat they r gunna b released in summer 06 and wot i sed b4 bout changin stuff - ne pics wud b apreciated or if ne1 knows nethin bout these.

They're called the Adidas Tunit +F50. No pictures are allowed or anything similar, as can be read in the rules part of the "unreleased adidas boots" thread.

I just received my new Abs. yesterday,they're so awesome ..i think i like the black/red colorway more than the white/gold one.I cant wait till my team starts training!

Do you really believe that Powerpulse makes your shots better?! These guys are good because they practiced hard and put there full effort into their game, not because they wear expensive boots which have been marketed to make people believe that they will suddenly make you better.

alrite alrite..... i was just going by word of people who wear these and actually tell me it makes a small difference.... and how the HELL would adidas (one of the worlds most successful brands) get away with selling something thats makes NO difference.... it obviously does make a little difference.

Well, Adidas has been a great brand for years, and people have learnt to trust them over the years. Adidas get alot of sales from older players who trust the brand. Then there are youngsters who like the designs and believe the media hype and buy the latest gear.

I won't buy a boot if it isn't comfy. For me all Adidas boots are comfy. Then i choose an Adidas because the boots look nice. I don't buy boots for technology. I believe pred element make no difference to my shots, as well as the powerpulse.

Basically I am buying a boot for its quality, comfort, and design....not for technology.

yeah.... now youve said it i think that is the core reason behind finding a good boot. i mean you could put a powerpulse and rubber on a school shoe and call it technology.

ok i have the leather absolutes so lemme clear up the powerpulse thing. It does make a poitive affect on ur shots. u can put more weight on it and the ball flies straigghter. BUT, i do not wear them for 2 reasons. one, it makes a fair weight difference. and two, u can feel the blcok of weight on the powerpulse kind of sticking into ur foot. so i wear the light insole. always. its very light and i can still rip a shot. who that has absolutes feels the same way?

I think it wouldn't be too bad if we make a list of all players wearing Absolutes, F50+s, Copas, Pulses etc... qould be quite helpful in my opinion. So if we work all together, we wopuld ge able to make a damn long list! I'm busy at the moment, but I'll start with the best known players with Abs:
