my friends n i r arguing about this too much.....was gerrard truly worthy of a free kick, or was there no interference by gattuso...when it was 1 nil, and luis garcia tried getting around nesta in ac's penalty area was it hand to ball, or ball to hand by nesta?
please let me know and state why...

Smicer's goal was an offside (Liverpool's attacker was in Dida's line of sight and in an offside position)

Gerrard din't dive he got tripped n his legs clipped n exaggerated i already watched the game 2-3 times hehe. N Garcia moved the ball to Nesta's hand thoug Nesta's hand was in the way. Man that thread called is the final over 2 legs is funny crap.

Why thank you.I assumed Gerrard dived for the penalty, it didn't look like he really had much contact.
I think Gerrard made a meal out of it. In the nesta situation i do feel that Nesta could perhaps avoided it.

in regards to the gerrard pk, when i faintly look at the replays, i'd say no goal.....but if u look closely, and you look and you think about the picture, you'll see in the last clip that gerrard was going to shoot with the leg that gattuso put his leg infront of, and i think gattuso got a piece of it....when ur running at full pace going to take a shot and someone at the last stride nicks ur leg, u'll be off track, also gattuso was wildy trying to hold gerrard's wrist....i think many other players like kaka or totti would have been down a lot earlier...plus gattuso had no reason to be that close to gerrard in the first place as gerrard and the ball were far away enough from him and he was behind...so was it a pk?- yes, was gerrard dramatic about the interference of gattuso ->yes, but it doesn't take away the fact that it was illegal play...
for nesta, if you watch it from the live part, i think he's waving his hand around all over the place trying to block the ball which ever way luis garcia was going to touch it to, either over his body that was already on the floor, or around his head, and there was no need for his arm to be over his shoulders in that situation...the pk given to barca at stamford bridge was for less than that...

lol take it easy, ur rite tho, i have made up my mind for now after watching the plays a lot of times, and reading wat everyone has to say to see if anyone brings up any points i haven't thought of...
but for your points, you haven't made much of an effort to go into them, except for the smicer one....
i'm not insulting kaka or totti, i'm just stating imo gerrard is a lot stronger than them both probably put together...i watch them both every weekend and i know if gattuso's right python was grabbing totti or kaka's arm in that same situation they wouldn't be able to move at all...
for the nesta-garcia situation, if you watch the clip again that i posted, you see nesta's eyes looking directly at the ball thewhole time, watching garcia's foot and where he's choosing to touch it around (which he could of any place he wanted to unless nesta used his arm), but nesta guided his arm to exactly where the ball went....it's pretty guilty to me...sergio watch the clip again and tell me nesta wasn't watching that ball the whole time until his arm got in the way

I think its obvious to tell when someone is biased.
Gerrard OBVIOUSLY made a meal of the foul - but it was still a foul and a penalty.

I think it is clear to see that Gattuso's right foot clipped Gerrard's left leg.
